So, how does everybody eat their rice? Personally, I eat mine with milk/sugar/cinnamon.
Since I'm not too knowledgeable about this, please specify if you say other.

I agree with Einoo. Not having soy sauce on here is pure madness.

I sometimes use soy sauce, but otherwise I usually use the rice to soak up the liquids of whatever I'm eating with it. Rice porridge is a delicious breakfast, though.

Jasmine Rice (has a better flavor than regular long grain). I toast it in the pan with a bit of olive oil, then add salt, pepper, and a tiny bit of turmeric before adding hot water. When done, I usually serve with curry or oriental stir fry.

Not enough choices...

I like all kinds. I like cheddar and broccoli. I like white rice. I like rice with sweet and sour sauce.

I have never in my life heard of anyone eating rice anything remotely close to this. Rice, where I live, either is white or fried and goes with Oriental cuisine, is yellow and goes with Mexican (or Tex-Mex) cuisine, or is white or dirty and goes with Cajun cuisine. Bottom line: Rice goes with salty foods, not sweet foods, so mixing it with milk, sugar, and cinnamon is completely foreign to me.

Anyways, I like my rice best with sausage and some veggies sautéed with a hint of thyme.

I've had cinnamon in rice once. It was disgusting, and I couldn't finish it.

I like rice with cheese. Yum, risotto. I like practically everything with cheese. I also like fried rice with prawns, bits of carrot, bacon, and bits of omelette. Pity that usually also has capsicum in it.

But I voted for plain. Plain rice is pretty good as well. ...I like rice.

Oh, trust me--my own sweet tooth is quite strong, but I get my fix with proper sweets, such as chocolate, breakfast cereals, and soda. ;)

Actually, that sounds like it would taste good.

I should try that some time.

That's nothing at all like regular rice. By your reasoning, Fritos' corn chips are as healthy as eating corn on the cob because hey, they're both corn!

Hey, just because rice is toasted to a crisp (I mean, made in a factory) it's not less of rice! Who are you to judge if yellow rice, fried rice, crisp rice are 'regular' are better by your standards (or their so-called "nutritional value")? All rice is created equal!

Okay, when I eat real rice, I always have it with soy sauce, and I sometimes mix it with chicken and vegetables and stuff.

People don't like rice? I thought it was one of those things that you have to like (noodles, potatoes...).

Anyways, I usually eat it with soy sauce and sometimes curry powder.

I like rice, but I'm not a fan of noodles.

I usually just eat rice with salt.

I don't like potatoes either. Only if it's fried, like french fries or summat.

I don't like rice because it's usually ridiculously bland.

You go to Thai restaurant.
You order some kind of coconut milk curry thing.
You eat the stuff in the curry.
You take the rice they give you and stick it in the coconut milk.
Pure genius.
