Post subject:  Your favorite Homestar Halloween costume? Part Four

Here now is the fourth Homestar Halloween costumes poll, in which you can vote for your favorite Halloween costume of 2003 (AKA 3 Times Halloween Funjob). As always, this is actually based on - you guessed it - a bonus found only on the Everything Else Vol. 2 DVD, which explained the winner of best 2001 Halloween costume, which was Strong Bad as Carmen Sandiego. Anyway, now it's time for to decide what YOUR favorite Homestar Halloween costume of 2003 is. It's exactly the same as the first set of polls. Here's the link for the 2000 costumes poll: The "Homestarloween Party" costumes poll. And here's the link for the 2001 costumes poll: The "The House That Gave Sucky Treats" costumes poll. And HERE is the link for the 2002 costumes poll: The "Pumpkin Carve-nival" costumes poll. You can still post votes in those polls, by the way.

Now, with that thought in mind, what is your favorite Halloween costume in 3 Times Halloween Funjob? Just like last time, simply pick your favorite in the list above. My vote, BTW, goes to Bubs as Mel Sharples from the movie "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore" and the subsequent TV show "Alice". He's just too good in that role. Although I've never really seen the show or the movie (although I wouldn't mind checking either out), I have gone to a local Mel's Diner on more than one occasion and I love it. Plus, I like his dialogue here and how Homestar compares his costume to that of a dirty man. "Whatever you say, Homestar!" Bubs replies. Oh, and just so you know, Stinkoman's costume is included here as well for your pleasure.

Also, as always, feel free to add comments. I would really appreciate it if you explained why you chose what you, please.

Yeah, I guess he is at that. He says, "Robble-robble!" at one point.

I mean, what do you think of the Homestar Halloween polls thus far? My mission with these polls is, to find out once and for all what the best Halloween costume worn by a Homestar character is. First, I'm gathering the votes for all the costumes in individual Halloween toons. This will continue on until about Halloween of 2007, at which time another Halloween toon should be due. This toon's costumes, too, will be put in the polls. And then, around mid-December or so, I will then create the final poll which will be the deciding poll to determine what the best one is. To avoid confusion, that poll will feature only the poll choices from the other poll threads that have the top votes. Now, things are liable to change at any time between now and then, but for now, the poll results that are determining which costumes will be in the final poll are as follows:

2000: :kot: as Cap'n Crunch
2001: :hr: as The Greatest American Hero
2002: :kot: as Mario

So that's what the top votes are for the moment, but we'll have to wait until around November or December to determine the final votes in the past costume poll threads and figure out which ones will be in the final poll. By then, the final choices may be different. That list you saw up there is just determining where the present final votes stand for now. Now do you understand even a little?

It's not a bad idea, but it's kind of annyoing to read a poll where every other post the creators.

Not so fast. These polls are unending, which means, like I said, the final poll results may be very different from where we are right now. This means that it's possible, though not probable, that Stinkoman may not be the winner of this round. ALL polls are still open to anyone wanting to vote, don't forget. We'll have to wait until November or December, when the final poll goes up determining the winning costumes, before I decide who the winners are. By then, the final polls may or may not be different from where they stand right now.

Well, maybe it's a win for you. But it may not always be a win for everybody.

Oh, yeah, and when you make a decision, please try and explain why you went with the choice you made.

All right, tomorrow I will put up the next poll (which will be on the 2004 H'ween costumes). I'm looking forward to it. In the meantime, however, let's get a few more votes up.

And, oh yeah, another thing, shouldn't we create a new emoticon for Stinkoman? I think he deserves one.
