You left off Monty Python, Kids in the Hall, SCTV, All That (pre-2001, of course), Mr. Show, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Royal Canadian Air Farce, and You Can't Do That on Television.

For shame.

Duly edited.

30 Rock's a sitcom, not a sketch show, but it is hilarious. So my vote goes to SNL.

I think he's joking, since it's about a sketch show. But yeah, it is hilarious.

I'm not really a fan of either SNL or MADtv. From what I've seen, though, MAD probably wins. SNL just isn't funny anymore (I've never actually seen older ones, I just know they're good, according to most). Lat time I saw MAD was a good five years ago, though, so I dunno.

Is Whose Line close enough? :p

Ehhhhhhhh, I might add Whose Line, but I already voted. =\

SNl's actually gotten good with the new cast members Bill Hader, Jason Sudeikis, Andy Samberg, and Kristen Wiig. They're all really great, especially in the Digital Shorts.

Well, What I should of done is not had that as a poll option, and just written "In before 30 rock" cause I figured people were gonna say that. I was kidding.

Hehe, I know.

But I still stand by my Wag of the Finger for leaving out a buncha shows.

MadTV sucks. And lately, I started watching SNL instead, so I vote that.

But if it was up there, Who's Line would win my vote fo' sho'.

All sketch comedy I've ever seen is painfully unfunny. Kids in the Hall is the only sketch show I'd watch, and even then.

I like british and Australian sketch comedy, such as the Chaser, the late skitHOUSE, Big Train and The Sketch Show.

This should be a given in any non "yes or no" question poll.

"MAKE AN 'OTHER' OPTION!!"

I demand to know why Robot Chicken isn't on here.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that maybe that isn't sketch comedy.

Second paragraph.

[Mod edit: Zoom-ins are a no-no now, Kari.]

In this case, I'd probably allow one (but only one).

However Kari should notice that, given that the "proof" is Wikipedia, the pwnage goes down a little bit. Anyone can put anything they want on there and it'll stay for a couple minutes.

Robot Chicken IS a sketch comedy show, though. Well, that's how I'd classify it, anyway.

Ah.

Well, I can always hide under the shield that I said I was taking a wild guess in the first place, whether my tone sarcastic or not.

I would actually say "whose line is it anyway" but thats not an option, or even Robot chicken as stated above. I kind of hate both SNL and MADtv because they both have the worst writers in years and I think they might be too concentrated on the so called "youtube generation" wants.

Whose Line isn't sketch, it's improv. Big difference.

Dude, ever since they brought in the new peeps after Jimmy Fallon, Chris Parnell, Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch, and Horatio Sanz (thank God) left, SNL's gotten a major funny boost. And Seth Myers is great for Weekend Update.

Haven't seen MADtv lately (at least not on FOX, lulz), but what I've seen is decent. MADtv's pretty hit-or-miss with me.

MADtv is mostly miss with me.

The only good thing on there was Frank Caliendo. How he got mixed up with that crapfest, God only knows.
Maybe he lost a bet.

Also, Bobby Lee's "humor" is all him prancing around in whitey tighties in odd positions. And nobody wants to see a fat asian man do that.

That's what I'm talking about.
Even their funny things aren't that funny.

Don't even get me started with their recurring characters and their catchphrases.

I don't watch much of either, but the little of both I've seen, SNL.

It's sad how MadTV ruined the entirely epic magazine.

Eh, it was on its way downhill, anyway.

I really wish SNL was subcategorized into "good SNL" and "SNL from the last 10-15 years".
That's not to say there haven't been some good episodes, but in general, the Aykroyd days were what the kiddies today would call epic.

Andy Samberg = good.

Rest of SNL = rubbish.

Also, MADtv is so horrible I feel like crying blood after watching it.

Naw, madmag might even be better than it used to be. Every so often, there's an article that makes me lol pretty hard.

MADTV has pretty good actors on it (or used to) like Frank Caliendo, Micheal McDonald (he was pretty good on Scrubs), and the guy from Office Space.

That being said ROBO CHICKENS
