A lot of the people here hate Family Guy maybe.

I do too.

But why?

I chose dialogue/voice acting.

This poll should not have been created.

"Everyone loves it" means you hate it because everyone you know loves it, not "Everyone should love it".

I dunno, for me, it is how they usually ramble on with their jokes. I'll still watch it if it is on though.

I dunno. Parts of it are good, but I see too much of it that's not. Plus, *way* too many of it's jokes are formulaic.

Your title is wrong and I have proof.
Did you see their Star Wars episode?

I'm neutral on Family Guy.

One one hand, the jokes are funny, but on the other hand, the random pop-culture cutaways every few seconds are annoying and make me not want to watch it for more than 15 minutes.

I love it. I mean, I know it's joke after joke, but I like that. At least it doesn't get preachy and up its own insertnaughtycusswordhere with its messages.

And yes, I did get that from Cartoon Wars Part 2. I personally love its jokes. Except the most recent episode, "Brian's Song (Moving Out.)" That one sucked.

Yeah, Family Guy mostly fails, but they've produced good stuff on occasion, like YTMND.

Ah, well this is a great example of when Family Guys is pretty hilarious, although even then it's still not above the usual "Family Guyisms". I still lol'd, though.

The references, like I saw one where they visit a place that bears more than a passing resemblance to Disneyland.

But then again, I just avoid this show like the plegg... I mean, plague.

Wait, Family Guy produced YTMND?

Oh snap, I was not aware of this.

This episode title rips off my second or third favourite Billy Joel song.

Did you know 20th Century Fox claimed copyrigths on all of the Familly Guy clips on YouTube?

Toastpainting myself.

Family Guy is awesome. I've been a fan since it's original run. The new episodes aren't as good as the originals but they are solid.

Please be some sort of trolls.

Anyway, Family Guy sucks because it's not, uh...funny?

Yes, I'm a troll because I like Family Guy.

I R TROLL 2!

I like the show. Like BTG, I don't think the episodes from the second life (what I call the shows made after the show was un-canceled) hold up to the originals (except for the Star Wars one, which is the single greatest episode of any television show ever), but it's still a great show.

I heard of this thing called opinion... Probably why people aren't all the same religions.

Plus, I respected yours. You should at least try to respect others.

Family Guy was good...once.

Like when I first got into it on the Adult Swim reruns.

Then after seeing the entire series like 5 times through, I was like "meh".

When they brought it back, I was like "oh ok this might be good".

Show's gone downhill since it's been back.

I'm going to get flamed for this, but right now, American Dad is better. Better, more intricate plots, more character development, and jokes that are relevant to the story while still being pretty good. It's not a perfect show and I still like Simpsons more than both of them, but AD is a solid cartoon.

Dear Family Guy writers,
Just because a gimmick character was funny one time does not mean he is automatically funny every time he appears again and does the exact same thing. Here is a list of characters I never want to see again:
- Ollie Williams
- Herbert the Old Pedophile
- Greased-up Deaf Guy
- Slow-talking Gay Guy
- The Vaudeville Duo (thank you for killing them)
Also, can you seriously not think 22 minutes worth of material? Padding your jokes out by stretching them over 5 minutes drains them of all humour.
Your former fan,
DG
ps. if you must sing, at least write a funny and relevant song instead of just singing an old show tune for no reason.

*huggle* Although I do hope you mean the Simpsons overall, not just right now.

South Park is worse, in my opinion.

I agree 100% on everything. Especially the Vaudeville guys. It was at least a minute of one guy doing something, screwing up, going "play me of johnny" and the same song. UGH. Glad they haven't been on in a while.

I'm sick of them singing, it's pointless.

Literal answer: Because it rakes in cash for the stations that show it.

Personal answer: Eh, I give it a 5/10 right now, for many of the reasons already given, but of course it has the right to exist.

Theological answer: But why does anything exist?

I meant it in the sense that both YTMND and FG fail most of the time, but occasionally poop out good stuff.
