AIM is reliable. I started using it mostly because all my friends do, and I've never tried the others. Don't use the crappy client tho, because trillian rules and has no ads.

I prefer Yahoo due to the ease of use of its webcam service, same with MSN, but only my oversea friends use that, my rich-tires and raid targets use Yahoo, and my IRL friends use AIM.

Of course, AIM does have the best file-transfer service which I use when I need to send demo tracks to friends to get their opinions and see if they can expand on it, as well as send pics of the latest fail I see when walking down the street.

I use MSN on my cell phone because my European/Asian/Chimerica contacts are online during school time and they're usually asleep(EU/AS) or knee-deep in the dead(CMA) by the time I get home.

My Yahoo account is just there, I barely have any contacts on it, other than old GirlFriends, people who will be used in the Chimerican overthrow of Norway, or random people who offer me free stuff.

None the less, they're all good, but only because I use trillian to access them all.

Oh, and as for ICQ and MyspaceIM:

MySpace IM is the most appalling thing ever!

I use WLM mostly because all of my friends use WLM. The only gripe I have with it is the file transfer is slow and painful.

I use AIM, MSN, and Yahoo! on Meebo.

Just easier that way. I couldn't pick a favorite; it's not like one of them completely fails to instantly deliver messages to the recipient.

At various times, I have used AIM, MSN, Yahoo! Messenger, and yes, Meebo.

I like AIM best, but as of now I use one of those "third-party"-ish clients that lets me talk to AIM and MSN contacts at the same time. And contacts on other accounts I could have, but I don't have any.

Really? I never see you on AIM. I mean, you probably blocked me, but whatever. XD

Huh. Where you there when Lube almost raided me before I backed down on the HRWFWF? Because I might have blocked you then if you were part of the list of people who in on it.

Sorry man, I'll undo it or something, I'm bored and I need to talk to someone right now XD

EDIT: Nevermind, I don't recognize your screen name. Maybe I just never friended you in the first place. XD

I don't remember raiding you, and I would probably remember something like that...probably.

I guess AIM's the best, but only 'cause that's the one everyone else uses. The interface (now at least) is pretty sucky, so I'm glad I use Trillian.

AIM and G-Talk. Tie between those two.

AIM. It's like Google; it may not be the fanciest, but it gets the job done well.

AIM is ugly. That's the biggest difference.
