I have been having this thought for awhile--the thought of that one day, I'll be dead. This is especially a troubling thought after nearly dying from carbon monoxide poisoning a month and a half ago. Now, my mind won't be existing in an earthly state at that time, so it probably won't matter unless I'm a zombie or something cool like that, but I'd still like to ask: what would you prefer happen to your body once you were deceased? For me, I'd like to be buried or just left alone; I couldn't stand the thought of being cremated at all. (sorry if this subject troubles anybody, just a poll out of curiousity) |

Much like Strong Bad, I wanna be taxidoimied! Except without the cougar. Anyway. I want to be taxidermied and I intend to state in my will that my surviving children must keep me around, and on display. None of this "toss Grandma's corpse in the attic" nonsense. If not that, then I want some kind of artistic installation done using my body. Maybe upholster a chair or a book with my skin or something. Make an interesting set of baskets out of my bones. I've got a friend who wants a cradle made out of his bones when he dies. |

I once read somewhere that this one lady's ashes were compressed and then formed into a synthetic diamond and set in a gold ring. It didn't say how much it costs to do such a thing, but I would guess her family had a lot of money. |

I want by body meat thrown to the lions & my bones to be donated to art. But if I can get cremated & crammed into a diamond, then I've achieved immortality as a piece of near-unbreakabke jewelry. |

I'd definitely donate my organs and stuff. Then be cremated, whatever's left of me. Although, having science done on me sounds alright... I'd have to go over it with the people who'll miss me. |

Buried--and EXTREMELY well-embalmed. I have a fear of decaying. But I have a tombstone in mind, so I do want to be buried. Not before donating my organs, though. |
