Toast doesn't go into a toaster, bread does.

Toast is nummy, yes, but there are some breads out there that are just as delicious untoasted.

As far as, like, Wonderbread and things like that go, toasted all the way, but fancy bakery-fresh bread is usually left untoasted, on the rare occasions that I have it. Of course, that's usually been because that kind of bread is shaped funny and won't fit in our toaster, so now that we have a toaster oven...

I like numerous types of bread un-toasted, though I don't really remember brand names. If the bread is something like whole-wheat though, I'll probably try and mask the taste by toasting it (normally, I don't like whole-grain/whole-wheat breads).
