1st and 2nd - Atari 2600
3rd - NES
4th - SNES
5th - N64
6th - PS2
7th - Wii

Last one. I want PS2 to win but I know it won't.

Also: So the Wii won the last poll, eh? Wow, that was close.

I can't decide between SNES and Wii. I'll probably end up going with SNES for the nostalgia and the fact that it really is the best system of all time.

I have a question, though: does anybody have an N64 box with a picture of Mario Kart 64 on the back of it? I remember quite well that one of the item boxes in the image had an item shaped almost like the feather from Super Mario Kart (it was too skinny to be a mushroom). It may be different for all of you, but I'm just curious.

I'd be hard pressed to find a list of games that aren't on the N64 that are honestly fantastic.

Legend of Zelda, OoT and MM
GoldenEye
Banjo-Kazooie
StarFox 64
Donkey Kong 64

I could go on and on.......I chose the N64, despite being a Ps2 owner atm, liking the Wii and the SNES....but yes, I did own an N64. Best years of my life. It's probably Ruined now that I've played it, but I don't care.

Those are what I own or have owned, plus I have played XBox(crap), N64(hated it), Gamecube(Not bad), SNES(Loved it), and PS3(going to get one)

If you're split between Nintendo systems, do what I did and vote for Wii. It probably has all the games you love from that system and a whole lot more.

Yes, please do. If anything was crap out of that generation it was the 'Disc Read Error' from the 1/3 or so PS2s.

It was okay as a transitional console to pave the way for NES but not impressive.
