There's so much collecting in Zelda games, but which game has the hardest to complete? Not every Zelda game is listed here, only the ones that have an elaborate collecting mechanism (other than heart pieces).

Ones that don't have one are:
Zelda 1
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
A Link to the Past
Link's Awakening
Four Swords
Four Swords Adventures

TP also had the Golden Bugs.

To me, Majora's was the easiest. Or maybe the least boring, since that was the only one I've had the patience to do everything with and not lose interest.

Definitely not Ocarina of Time...

Actually, I would say Link to the Past, just with the Heart containers.

Also Phantom Hourglass is a huge pain in the HINEY.

Good thing no one voted yet.... I forgot about the golden bugs and was able to edit them in.

I found the Bomber's Notebook to be the most fun sidequest in all the Zeldas, too...
Especially the Anju and Kafei one. That part of the game is one of the best parts in any Zelda I've seen.

I haven't got every ring in Seasons or Ages yet.... I think I'll be able to do it with enough starting games, linking games, red snake passwords and patience... Though I've heard that playing GBC cartridges for too long can kill the internal saving battery... so all that hard work could result in a useless cartridge that can't save. Is this actually true?

The question is "Is it worth it?"

And the answer is not really.

I didn't bother trying to get all the rings in Ages/Seasons because I was fine with the regular ones.

TP. I have everything else, but I cannot find the last Poe's Soul. I've seriously searched everywhere, in every place that a poe's soul should be, but I could never find it.

Have you tried gamefaqs.com?

Yes, and it always turned up the same: Everyplace I checked, it didn't exist. I even checked at night, and still nothing.

I'm going to suggest something here, and it may seem horrible and insulting to your intelligence, but I promise you that's not my intent because I have done this before.

Are you POSITIVE you haven't gotten the Poe at that particular location already, and it's not a DIFFERENT Poe that you're missing?

I don't know which poe I am missing or in which location, I can't memorize the location of 60 things, so I don't know where I am missing one, thats why I've checked everywhere. It may just be in the city in the sky, though...

I said Oracles and Phantom Hourglass because they both require you to trade with another copy of the game. And that's just annoying. PH is a little more annoying, because the game randomizes which parts you get commonly. And the only other person I know with the game has the same common parts as me.

I only have one Gold ship part, is that the rarest kind of thing to find?

I have a bunch. It's easier to get them when you battle with other people. (and win in special ways). And yes, they're supposed to be the rarest.

I have never attempted beating a Zelda game 100%. :(

Maybe I should! [/useless smiley plug]

Majora's Mask is the only one I did, and I had a strategy guide. Although it was a really poorly written strategy guide so I still had to figure out a lot of things myself.

Probably the Oracles games, although it's kind of annoying to have to take a picture of everybody in the Wind Waker. I only had Oracle of Ages, so I had to find passwords online to get the stuff you need both games for, which felt like cheating.

Who can spot the Fairly Oddparents reference?

also, I hated poe finding in OoT. Not because it was hard, but because I once chased a poe behind a wall, and could never get it to come out again. It was in Hyrule field not far from the canyon.
