Metallica and Slayer. Megadeath was Dave Mustaine's vain attempt to steal Metallica's thunder. It failed.

Slayer is the sound of Armageddon as far as I am concerned and that is awesome.

You know, it would have been easier just to include four options, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, or None, and then make it so you can choose up to three.

As for me, none. Not only have I never listened, I don't think I'd particularly like metal anyhow.

Out of those, Metallica. Slayer's good, but their stuffs all the same and Megadeth is ok, not as good as Metallica.

Also, I'm not a fan of Slayer's solos. They sound like Kerry King throws his guitar on the ground and stomps on it.

I don't really prefer any of them. They're good but they're not my cup of tea.

For one reason or another I'm more drawn to the 80's Dio style metal.

Metallica by miles. I don't even like metal, but I love Metallica.

They have done heaps of good soft and slow songs. It's the variety that makes them good.

Project 86 pwns! :mrgreen: Well, out of the options..I have no idea. I've heard all three and I've enjoyed what I've heard from all of them. I think I'll go with Metallica, but it's a close one that goes like this:

Metallica
Slayer
Megadeth

Basically what everyone else said.

I like some substance to my solos. I want talent like Kirk that can, you know, actually play the guitar. No disrespect to Kerry King.
