How do you react to spicy food?

I like spicy food, and can handel pretty hot stuff, however I tend to gravitate towards the medium mild range, not because of heat, but I actually like the flavor a bit more on that end.

Spicy's gewd, though.

Bread is also good, but not quite as good as milk. It's a nice alternative if milk's not around and bread is. Protip: carbonated beverages.

I freak out and then fan my tongue repeatedly, 'cause it TOTALLY works. :mrgreen: Then I usually try to douse my tongue with some sort of liquid. Milk's the best bet, but if I can't find milk I'll just grab whatever's near.

It's weird, I can't handle spicy food, and yet my sister and dad love the stuff. Heck, the put Frank's Red Hot Sauce on practically everything.

I love hot sauce. Lately all the hot sauce I've used has had a pretty lackluster flavour or hasn't been hot enough for me. Spicy food isn't up to my standards unless I'm sweating in the end.

I usually start drinking something which I don't know why because that won't even help so I eat some bread (If there is any at hand, which usually their isn't) I also sometimes fan my tongue.

A lot of times I do nothing for about four minutes, and then I have an urge to drink something because the spices are still there. Unless it's REALLY SPICY. Then I find some bread and milk.

Also where is breathe in deeply through your mouth then out your nose

Flamin' Hots are spicy to me as well. Which is strange, since I can eat green peppers without too much problem.
