When you're about to drop off a HUGE drop on a roller coaster/ride, what do you do?

I usually say something and brace for the impact or drop.

Roller coasters scare the crap out of me. I try not to go on them.

I hold the bar, not because I'm scared but because I don't like my arms flying everywhere.

I try to avoid rollercoaters, but when they find me I usaully have my arms up screaming...........................runing to the police.

I normally scream and hold onto the handlebars so my arms don't fly everywhere. I've learned to like roller coasters in recent years.

Throw my arms in the air, maybe even stand up and do something stupid, but only after I've been on the coaster a few times, so I know what's going to happen.

I haven't been on a roller coaster for a while, but I always held on to the bar as tightly as I could, but I enjoyed it very muh... I guess holding on is a survival instinct... and who am I to argue with my instincts?

I'm particularly scared of lie-down coasters. If you ever happen to come across my half-sister or maybe brother-in-law, ask them.

...Okay. I screamed "Let me off!" in a shrill way, often layered between hunks of regular screaming.

It was hilarious to them.

Usually I smile a little, and lean back and relax. Most of the roller coasters I go on I've been on a hundred times already, like the ones at Dorney Park, Hershey Park, and Knoebel's.

When I go on a new one, though, I tend to get more excited. I may laugh or something.

I really love roller coasters, I'm like an addict. When I go to a park, they're really the only reason I go. Carousel? Ferris wheel? Please. I feel the need, the need for SPEED.

Which is why I need to go to Six Flags: Great Adventure sometime this summer, they still have the tallest and fastest coaster in the world, I believe.

I try to scream to lighten that sensation in my stomach, but usually it comes out as silence.
Last time I went down a big drop on a roller coaster, I grabbed onto the side.

I suppose that could fit into close your eyes. I do see some people doing that.

You know, I was thinking about this recently. I was at an amusement park, and there were several different roller coasters that did that thing where they take your picture at one point and you can see them at the end of the ride. And in all of them, while everyone else had the normal expression of exhilarating fear, I had my face screwed up in an expression of utter discontent, disgruntlement, and loathing.

So while everyone else looks like they're having fun on the roller coaster, I look like I feel the roller coaster has personally wronged me in some way, and I seek retribution.

Eyes closed, head down, grabbing bar for every bit I'm worth, swearing that I'll kill my friends once I get off.

I usually just sit and stare, since I have nerves of steel.

I usually celebrate. Putting my arms in the air and whatnot.

God I love roller coasters so much. Everything about them is awesome. Jitka said it pretty well.

I grab the restraint bar for dear life, and pray as hard as I can that I don't throw up.

...I'm usually screaming with a smile on my face, though. Sooo, it's not that bad.

However, on Expedition: Everest at Disneyworld, I had my eyes and mouth firmly shut the whole time. My mom tricked me into riding that one by saying it wasn't that intense.

I scream, close my eyes, and hold on for dear life. If I were a real gecko, the last one wouldn't be a problem. But I'm a person man, and a really skinny guy. So I could easily fly off a coaster if the conditions were just right.
