Who is your favorite Nintendo character?

I play Nintendo games a lot and I was just wondering who everyone's favorite character is. If you can't decide, try thinking about Super Smash Bros. Who do you have the most fun playing as?

Hey, what about Mr. Game & Watch?? :mrgreen:

Anyway, I don't know why, but in every possible game I always choose Yoshi, be it Mario Kart (or Double Dash) or Super Smash Bros. (or Melee) or Mario Party. I even managed to get 4th place in our (admittedly small) local SSBM tournament using Yoshi, much to the astonishment of all involved (self included). But you just can't clear that guy. Yoshi is my homie. Word.

Still, I want to strangle him every time he makes that jumping noise.

Sorry about G&W. I wish I could put more options so that I could add him and others like toad and waluigi. I agree, Yoshi is the awesomest, and after using him so much the jumping sound does get annoying.

I like Mario. He is cool. I am also fond of Kirby even if he was created by HAL Labratorys. Also Luigi is very funny in Mario and Luigi SuperStar Saga. But is still like all of them very much.

I might have. He is very fun to play as in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Luigi. When I had an NES way back when with Super Mario Bros. on it, I always loved being Luigi in 2 player mode because it was cool to play with somebody different than Mario. And now, with games like Super Smash Bros. Melee and Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, I still like playing as Luigi.

Where's Megaman on the list? He originated on the Nintendo.

Well, since he's not on there, I chose Samus.

These are all character created by Nintendo, not characters that started out on Nintendo.

If that were the case, then Black Mage, Fighter, Red Mage, and Thief would be on the list too, since Final Fantasy I was on the Nintendo as well...

Wow, most people I know actually like Luigi more that Mario. I often use luigi in a lot of games as well, particularly SSBM. On a side note, it seems that Link is quite popular.I'm not surprised, seeing as he's up there with Mario and Samus in terms of game popularity.

Incidentally, I heard that both Megaman and Sonic are now own'd by Nintendo. Didn't Nintendo buy out Sega?

Same here. People like to play as something different.

I used to kill off Mario and then just play as Luigi. Green and blue is just more pleasing to the eye than blue and red.

HAL Laboratories is more or less owned by Nintendo, so they would still count.

Given the characters that are on the list, I'd have to say Luigi just because he's underappreciated. I like Toad an awful lot too, though.

I can kick ANYONE's butt in SSBM with Link. I rule. And I'm not cheap- I use the Spin Attack (B+Up) as little as possible.
