I'll try to help you, even though I don't have that game. I almost beat it though. Firstly, do you have Dijin aligned with the users element?(ie. Does Ivan have all wind?)

The interesting thing about the Djinn alignments is that sometimes if you mix and match you can come up with some pretty interesting psynergy (or whatever it's called). But in general, it is a good idea to match up the elements for the djinn and character. Also, keep Mia for healing (mostly) and be sure to have the Granite and Flash djinn ready most of the time. Psynergy and djinn that buff up your party are also useful. Good luck!

I like Mario the best. He really brought the video game industry in to the main stream.

Post subject:  Whoa.

Whoa, Jyarra, didn't even notice your avy. Golden Sun was awexome. It took me two days to beat the Doom Dragon (I think that's what it was called), but the Fusion Dragon was particularly easy. I guess it was because I beat Lost Age before the original.

There's actually an interesting story about that- I borrowed Lost Age from a friend, and beat it before him. He then beat Lost Age using the lvl. 45 characters I had. A couple o' months later, I bought the original of Amazon and eventually beat it. Then, on a whim, I asked for Lost Age for Christmas, probably six months after I beat the original, and got it. Then I got in a muddle, trying to play both Golden Suns, Final Fantasy I & II, and LoZ: The Minish Cap (which I bought two days after it came out) all at the same time. Eventually, I got so flustered that I loaned out Minish Cap to various friends (I beat it, though) and stored away the other three games, never to be seen again. In the meantime I finished beating Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Now I'm replaying (for the third time) Pokemon Sapphire.

I lead a very strange Game Boy life.

Yeah, I beat Lost Age first too. I beat Minish Cap, I need 1 last heart piece to be "100%". Besides what has already been said about beating the dragon by Magic Hero, try to get Ivan using the spells that raise def and element resistance(not as important, the latter)for your entire party, as that will help you stay alive. ALWAYS have Mia healing, or unleashing her 2 dijjin summon. Ivan should summon 2 dijjin as well. Garret should attack 3 times with all digin set, then summon his 3 or 4 summon. Issac should be unleashing 4 dijjin summon always, or using strong Earth psyenergys. On the battle before, kill Saturos first, as he heals. Right before you think Menardi is dying, heal up your party so your in a decent state for the next battle. I belive Menardi has 2k hp, and Saturos 3k. Hope it helps.
Edit:Your team should be around lv 32

    Fire Emblem(Gamecube release this year!)
    Mario(I play as Luigi)
    Pokemon

Though my name would imply that Kirby is my favorite (he's right up there), something about Yoshi makes me play as him in all Nintendo games.

Got to be Samus. However, if we're playing SSB, then it's Kirby. And if it's SSB:M, then Marth is my fighter of choice.

Yeah... It is debatable whether Marth is overpowered in SSBM. He seems to be the top "tier" when it comes to tournaments and serious battles. Many people seem to be good with Marth- and why not? He's a strong character, and easy to use!

The Boy from The Boy and His Blob. His story was so touching.

I'm not sure if he counts, but MegaMan.

LUIGI! LUIGI! LUIGI!

He rules. Even on SSBM. On our system he has like... 1800 KO's or something, and they're mostly by me.

Even outside SSBM I like him. And its not just because he's my favorite color. He owns Mario.

Kirby and Link are cool too.

Not overpowered, merely hard to beat if used properly. =D Although he may be strong, he's not a hard hitter. Fox and Falco, on the other hand? Over-powered. They've got agility, jumping height, weight and power (in terms of how far opponents go flying when struck). =| Marth? Good power, medium weight, good horizontal jumping, bad vertical, and great speed. So if he's over-powered, Fox and Falco are more so.

P.S. Marth+Wavedash=pwn Well, not really, but still, it helps.

I don't really think that anybody in SSBM is over-powered. They might only seem that way if someone is good with them (I rule with Roy, Link, Kirby, and Yoshi). No character is really "weaker" than the other (although Jigglypuff may be the only argument), as they all have their own unique strenghts and weaknesses.

You know that Final Destination even match? Number 41? The only character I've ever beat it with is Jigglypuff. Don't you dare call Jigglypuff underpowered! :p

My favorite character has changed a lot over my course of playing SSBM, but here they are in order that I remember:

Kirby
Captain Falcon
Mewtwo
Donkey Kong
Sheik
Roy
Luigi

To everyone: I'm scared of Dark Grapefruit and am hearby retracting my statement of Jigglypuff being underpowered. Ironically, the only character I've ever beat the final event match with is Jigglypuff. Not my best, but still not underpowered.
So...there you go.

Definitely Mario. I always use him in Mario Parrty ^^ Luigi I used to really like, cause he's good in Mario Kart Super Circuit, but I guess not much anymore. That signature jump of his always annoys the crap outta me >_<

WHAT?! Nobody chose Wario??? After having played Wario Ware so much, he's definitely a second favorite for me (although 9-Volt is my fave character in Wario Ware)
Suicune64 wrote:

Fox an Falco? God, those guys are just annoying for me....it took me forever to beat All-Star mode with them >_<

In SSBM, I usually like to use Mewtwo, Mario, Link, Young Link, and sometimes Roy. Now, seeing as it's on my mind, can someone PLEASE tell me how you do that multiple strike sword thingy with Link/Young Link? It has been annoying me ever since I got the game, and STILL haven't figured it out....

Yeah, you need to press it really fast.

My two greatest opponents are good with Young Link and Dr. Mario, respectively.

Hmmm. Perhaps I should start my own poll, since this is mainly becoming a SSBM topic. I'ma thinking of doing two seperate polls: One for the Original Characters, and one for the Extra Characters, since there probably isn't enough room to put all of them on one poll. Anyone else think this is a good idea, or do I have my head in the clouds?

Yeah, it's really easy to beat Giga Bowser using her Rest attack. I think I've done it with Kirby too, but I can't remember.
