My sister told me. It all started when I was on the computer one day, like, 6 months ago, showing a bunch of funny websites to my sister, like Funnyjunk.com, Newgrounds.com, ummm... and other stuff that I can't think of right now, and my sister told me about homestarrunner.com. I typed it in, and it brought me to the intro page. I watched the intro, then it brought me to main page 13. then, I pushed toons. I got to the toons page, and then... I had to get off the computer. So about 6 weeks ago I was on the computer when I remembered H*R.com and how I never got to see what it was all about. So I went to the toons page again, and watched Strong Bad is in jail cartoon. I was instantly hooked. |

My friend showed me SBemail 'dragon', 'japanese cartoon', and 'techno'. I forgot about it, but in the beginning of summer I got bored and remembered about it. I went to one of my friends parties and they were talking about the site so I decided to go on. So I went to it and I was instantly hooked! |

T'was the pride of the peaches, I remeber it well. There's this parade that goes by my house every year, and my family comes and sees it, and a bunch of my cousins came two years ago and they showed me Fluffy Puff Commetial... by the time they left I was hooked. |

I was introduced to Homestar Runner through albinoblacksheep.com, which links to the Strong Bad E-mails. I watched some, I laughed, I watched more, I became addicted. Need I say more? |

Amazingly, I found out about this site when I acidentally entered the wrong address. That was in 1999. Back then, I didn't think it was any good. Four years later, I find it on an Ed Edd n Eddy site: http://www.lionking.org/~hekima/plank/sightings.html Move to the bottom. I then looked at the site, and it was completly better than my first time there. And that's my life story. |

Well, I heard some of my friends, gathered in a little huddle at a party, qouting the First Time Here? video around February, but I couldn't make out the words (note: never speak outloud in Homestar talk in front of someone who has not been on the site and is not used to it) and I thought they were quoting some commercial for OnStar... Anyway, one day, someone walked up to me an asked me, "Hey, have you been to homestarrunner.com?" I instantly remembered that little cluster of people, and realized they must have been talking about that. And four to five months later, I'm a diehard H*R freak! |

Lol...first week of college I hung out with a buncha people who traditionally visited H*R every time they spent time together...so this would be word of mouth. After seeing an SB email for the very first time *snif* ... I rushed home to check out the entire site itself and thus....the obsession was born.

Hi, I'm new! *waves happy smiley face flag* I guess I first heard about H*R.com in spring 2003, though I didn't know what it was at the time. I was posting on a Yugioh fan forum (sad, isn't it?) and foreign words were exchanged all the time. Strong Bad, burnination, these "SBemails"? What kind of alien language is this? For example, I had a buddy on the forums, everybody worshipped him because he was a mod. At the time, he displayed something like "Yes, that's me from SBemail!" in his sig. I later discovered that he is in fact Yami Yugi from England in the email "island". I continued to wonder what the heck he was talking about. On June 30, 2003, I was reading posts on toonzone.net when I discovered a thread titled "Strong Bad's take on anime" or something similar. 'Aha, here's my answer!' I thought. The post linked to "japanese cartoon" I happily clicked the link, and boom! Here I am. |

Hah...how I heard about it the first time was really pretty funny..but I won't get into it. I actually started going on it when I was taken to a link to an H*R page a year ago from an online friend, and got hooked on the site ever since. |

The Webcomic MallMonkeys (Don't bother looking for it, it no longer exists. The nerve of these college boys.) Did a Homestar tribute comic, and I honestly had no idea what it was all aboot. Therefore, I clicked on the link reading "Much love to Homestar" and there I was. Simple as that. No-one's heard of Homestar over here in Blighty, Upsilon being an obvious exception, so if it weren't for that stupid webcomic...I'd probably have found it later on a very different webcomic. |

Not true. There was a guy from Wales who visited the Seminary a few months back. He came from some town that had a name like 50 miles long. I mean, like, by the time you got past the sign telling you the name of the town, you were already in Scotland. Anyway, he showed us the official web site for the long-freaking-name town, and all I could say when I saw it was "Fhqhwgads" in a Strong Bad voice. He understood the joke. So, SL, there's at least one dude in Wales who's heard of H*R. And he's Lutheran. And he's a seminarian. Go figure. |

I heard about homestarrunner.com in my junior year of high school (circa 1999...whoa). I was hanging out with my friend Meg in the art department and we were in the offices talking to the teachers (Yeah, we're nerds). Our Art History teacher was playing Bronco Trolleys and laughing really really hard. He introduced us to the site and (nice to meet you) it probably accounted for 65% of our inside jokes for the rest of high school. Thanks, Steve. (not )

How did I find out? Well, my brother's friend, a certain thetofurunner told him about it. And so he told me about it. Unfortunately, he also told him that it was inappropriate. (Shh yeah, and Strong Bad is empathetic) Okay, so my brother told my dad that his friend (thetofurunner) said it was inappropriate. He said he would check it but a year later he still hadn't checked it yet, and by that time we had mostly forgotten about it except my brother. So my dad checked it and we could finally go on. (My predictions about this site were oh so incorrect. For example, my mind pictured Strong Sad as Veran from The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages.) |

From the people at college. Its extremely popluar here in the Media, broadcasting and film programs. You have to have the brain the size of a paramecium over here to not know what it was. It's the first thing you'll hear about. ~Kamui.EXE |

Why, I was visiting my friend, "Swooshoman", and in our free time, we perused the website. I fell in love with the Teen Girl Squad, and eventually started loving the whole site. Now, Swooshoman introduced me to these forums, so here I am! |

A real long time ago, in the peasent kingdom of peasentry, some people lived..... IN FEAR!!! Oops I mean... I found out about Homestar Runner! It seems that my brother had downloaded some weird wallpaper, which was the one with strong bad by his old computer, which had the words, Every time I look at myself I cant believe how awesome I am! Well anyway, I asked my brother what it was, and he showed me and I thought it was one of the greatest things that had ever happened in the history of peasant kind..... or human kind... whatever works. |
