Funnily enough, he didn't bother me much at all. What worked for me was putting Flurrie in front and sucking his heath. I also used Fire Drive (that little 1 damage every turn actually helps a lot), and no-mercy Supernovas. I'm really good at Stylish moves, so I manages to amass Star Power crazy fast.

Some ghost king that was a boss as knuckles you had to face in Sonic Adventure 2. King boom boo or something like that. I just didn't like him.

Or the flood in the Halo series, they could be annoying, but fun to watch fighting the covanent...

Those freaking hammer bros. from the original SMB were the worst!
I almost beat the record but those *bleeping* *Bleepers* slowed me down and then killed me!

The guy on the last level of Super Mario Land. You know, the end-type boss?

He shoots ENOUGH bullet-type thingies at me to start with, and then they have to go and split into threes and move around.

The manhats from Half-Life 2 are pretty annoying...just when you think you've got them all, another one is attacking you from behind. Oh, and the zombies made with the poisonous headcrabs are pretty annoying, too, what with their speed and all.

Bowser on the last level of Yoshi's Island. I can beat him when he's little, but when he gets big, It's freakin impossible.

Which reminds me, I haven't played that for a while. I'm gonna have to go back and try to beat that.

Ah, I remember that. I got freaked out the first time I saw him do that. But that game is awesome.

I kept using Spring Jump which did more damage than expected. And since I refuse to use Flurrie, I went with the best combat-wise partner, Bobbery. But only since Yoshi couldn't swallow him/hurt him due to defense. ;)

I also used Piercing Blow and Power Smash, which did some damage. I had Bobbery appeal a lot and used Sweat Feast a ton. The whole Pit was harder than Bonetail since I went down from level 1 in one go (ie not getting the Sack thing and going back up).

I thought the Shadow Queen was harder than Bonetail, too. Which is weird considering I was often in trouble health-wise with Bonetail.

The first time that happened, I just sat there for a second thinking "Oh. Crap. I'm doomed.

I'm not sure because I haven't played for a while, but if I remember right, you have to hit him when his mouth is open or something like that. Then, he makes the platform you're standing on fall away even more, and I fall and lose the game.

Heh, that was pretty hard, but I finally got it. X3 You know what enemies are annoying? Anything in Dark Aether on Metroid Prime: Echoes, GAH! Especially those things that you can only hit at certain times..

You know what enemy is really, REALLY easy? The boss of the game from Nightmare in Dreamland, MAN was he easy...

Wizzrobes from The Legend of Zelda on NES. Man, those guys were annoying, especially the blue ones traveling through walls and whatnot. "I just want the magic wand! AGH!"

The Wizzrobes from Majora's Mask are the worst, though. Not just because they have no robes, kinda defeating the point, but their spread-ice and spread-fire attacks are SO annoying.

Do you know how long it took me to figure out how to kill one of those? I was annoyed out of my mind. I started running around in circles, then he got dizzy and gave me a blue coin. :) I was happy after that.

It tells you how to beat those guy in big boo's haunt!

Oh, I don't even mess around with those guys. I pull out fire/ice/light arrows right away. Gotta take 'em down quick-like.

I hate basically any small flying enemy, especially in games like Megaman where you don't have a lot of aiming possibilities. Gree.

lets see....

hammer bros from the first super mario bros, making world 8-3 almost impossible.

Wizz Robes in Links Awakening, because they came in 3s.

Those propellor things in the first mega man. sure they are easy on ground, but when you are on platforms?

The twirling fire in Super Mario Bros

Thwomps on Super Mario 64

the Bosses in The first Fire Emblem in GBA

The enemys in Gauntlet that you cant attack with ranged attacks (I just relaized thats where the term Players can not hit other players (yet) came from. as soon as I saw the new game screen on HR I wondered where that was from.)

The second-to-last boss in Sonic adventure 2: battle.

that made me so angry.

and then you fight the final boss....which is totally undeserving of the name "Final boss"

basically it's like you swim the english channel (second-to last boss) and then take a walk in the rain (final boss)

insert more analogies here.

I actually found that guy fairly easy...

I also don't like bosses that take forever to hit once

EDIT: Perfect Chaos in Sonic Adventure 1 can be annoying...

Dang, gamer pet peeve right there. Even if you don't HAVE to wait forever, but you should if you don't want to get massacred. Or those bosses that give you health powerups somehow, but they do so much damage so easily that a good portion of the battle is you hiding in save areas and dodging attacks until you can replenish your health. That's how I feel about the Slenches from Metroid Prime Hunters. (CONTINUING the vitriol against Metroid enemies. What is UP with them?)

Holy Revised Opinions Batman!

Okay, after doing another runthrough of Paper Mario 2, I have decided that Bonetail is nothing, and the Shadoow Queen can be something. Boentail is easy if you use Flurrie (honestly, I did not look at this thread before I faced him) and Piercing Blows. The Shadow Queen can be easy or hard depending on how she fights. If she gets trigger happy with her stat altering attacks (confuse, poison, dizzy...) then she can be nigh impossible to defeat because all your partners get stat changed or lose too much health. She becomes truly impossible to defeat if she also uses her hp draining attacks as well.

Of the common enemies, just about anything on floors 91-99 of the Pit of 100 Trials. To be specific, Elite Wizzards. They have 5 defense, 12 health, and 7 attack. If you run into more than one at a time, you're toast.

Some how big fat happy 'goodie' two shoes war hammer just doesn't seem to be the right wording. But Elites with energy swords in close combat can eb a bit tense.

I HATE the X-Yux. The Wizzards were not a big deal for me, because I used Showstopper a lot, and Koops's piercing move if that failed.

I usually did alright with any sort of yux. I found that Multibounce is devastating to them. It completely knocks out all thier mini-yux without using too much FP. Though, that Koop's piercing move is a great idea. I'll have to try that next time.

I have a new one - In Crash Bandicoot: Twinsanity, during the first level(N. Sanity Island, Crash's home.), you get tricked into going into a battle with Cortex's new machine - The Mecha Bandicoot. However, the MB breaks and the two jump at each other and scuffle.

Then they roll down into the mines, beating each other up as they go along. Eventually, they make it to where there's a bunch of Mecha-Ants(member's of Victor and Moritz's, the bad guys, army) crowding around. One thing leads to another, and soon you're climbing up the mine in circles at an awkward camera angle where a gigantic drill is moving on up trying to kill you.

Guh.

*starts laughing like a mad scientist*

I DID IT.

I DEFEATED THARDUS IN METROID PRIME ON HARD.

It took me over 3 tries and quite a bit of dodging, but I did it.

Now I only have 60% more of the game to complete. XD

I have now finally beaten 2 level 9 computers on a team in SSMM, they were Fox/Falco and I was Marth. Also there were no items or handicaps and it was on the Pokemon Stadium level. [happydance]
