I still can't play the first one due to the factor of you only get to save your game every...six levels and my disc is messed up.

Getting a little back on topic.

The Rampaging Crawmad in Pikmin 2. (At least, I THINK that's its name.) It's not that it's hard to beat so much as it's hard to hit. His rolling attacks and rocks can take out waaay too many Pikmin for comfort, and in order to hit him, you have to aim your throw just right. But if you use a team of purples and red with a Spicy Spray, you can kill him in more or less one round. You just have to make sure your Pikmin hit his pulsing belly and not some other part of him.

OKay, I hope someone understands me when I say this:

In Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (For the Genesis) in the Aquatic Ruin (think it's called that, but I knwo it is the third area.) those drill guys that jump out of the walls. They are so annoying becasue if you are going slightly fast and don't jump at the right split second, you lose all your rings. Quite annoying.

This is especially annoying if you are an expert and are trying to average an extra life ever level. Especially considering the first zone in this area has no hidden 1-up boxes.

Please tell me someone knows what I am talking about...

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past - in the water dungeon, the little blue bubbles that fly around the room. Not hard to beat, but GOSH were they annoying! And, to an even greater extent, those stupid hands that grab you in various Zelda games and restarts you at the start of the dungeon. GAWD! How annoying.

Ack! The fury of the Wallmaster! If you can pay attention to their shadows, you can avoid them, but those that chase you are the WORST. And I mean the absolute WORST!

Last week my sister rented m Halo 2. After playing that for an hour I quickly came to the conclusion that EVERY enemy is the most annoying enemy. It only adds to the annoyingness that about half way through EVERY level you always wind up with the crappiest weapons in all existence.

I hate that game...

haha, you should hear the people online.
lots of teenagers with pent up anger.
they act the big man behind their microphones and spout about 20 swears a minute!

the most racist, angered, annoying, high pitched idiots ive ever had to encounter.
it wasnt always like that though. back around early '05 the online community was great!
lots of nice people saying "good game" and "nice shot". i dont think i ever hear anyone swear then.
except maybe if they had about 10 kills in a row,got killed and said "aww f--k!"
that was about it.

I hear a lot of people call it overrated. I haven't played it, so I don't know what to think.

Ever play a game where you shoot stuff? Yeah, it's like that.

Except it's kind of cheap because it's nearly immpossible to die and if you do you just go to one of the six hundred checkpoints each level has.

Wait. Isn't you saying that aginst the law or something? It should be... I can't believe you sa.... How cou-.. What is oging through your brain ?!?!??!?!?!?!?

NO, but seriously how are all of the enemies THAT annoying... I mean, some explanation would really help defend what you are saying. I mean, they're not very hard to kill, and in your next post you said it is nearly imposiible to die. What did you play on, easy mode? There are actually guys that can kill you in two hits. And it is pretty darn easy to kill even without a good gun, try melee attacks.

Having them easy to kill is just...Whatever with me. My problem is there's always hordes of them shooting at you, whenever you get hit the screen flashes and they always have the most annoying voices (especially those runty lookin' ones). Being immpossible to die wasn't meant to be a good thing either, I'd rather the game be challenging (I was playing on normal by the way) then having it just make me kill a bunch of enemies over and over... It get's pretty tedious after a while.

And not all enemies are easy to kill, those zombie things are pretty hard to kill, same with those guys that are in that level where you kill the prophet of regret (the ones that sometimes have those swords).

Anyways, sorry if I offended you. I just really didn't like the game all that much.

Oh yes, and in WW, the ones that are in those dark portal hole things. I hate those the MOST. On the topic of the water dungeon in that game, I'd have to say after you beat the game and have to fight the water dungeon boss again in the Four Swords cave, he's really hard. And certainly annoying, for sure.

I just rented a game called Battalion Wars, and I have decided on the most annoying enemy.

YOUR AI TEAM MEMBERS!!!

Seriously, sometimes, they are a huge help, but other times? Augh. A rock could do better (and I'd save money, SWEET!). There are times when my troops will remain where they are after I've moved out and given the command to follow me. I take it from thier perspective, and there is nothing in their path. Once, I charged a landed copter w/my Anti-Air tank, orderiing my men to attack the infantry as I went past. I turned around 5 seconds later, they are milling about while roughly 5 guys with bazookas are blowing the tar out of my tanks. Not a single person was returning fire. It's just pathetic...

Grarg. I like games where your partner can't screw up too badly.

Man, that puts me in the mood for some Bomberman 64: The Second Attack! I never beat that game, but dang do I regret it now... that was a fun game, that.

I don't know if anyone's already mentioned this one yet, but the Spider Guardian from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. You have to fight this thing entirely in Morph Ball form and use the ol' Bombs to stun it while you bomb some switches to make the guy electrocute himself.

Samus can whoop @$$ any day, but make her fight a boss in Morph Ball form, and she's almost defenseless. :(

Yup, it's been mentioned. I think we've run over more or less every Metroid boss here and noticed its proclivity towards big, annoying baddies. XD

But... More guys is a lot mroe realistic. And the whole flashy thing is because your armor has a shield and it flashes when it is being drained. The voices... Can be quite funny but I can undestand them being annoying.

Oh, and don't worry about offending me. It's your opinion, and you said noting offensive. If you not agreeing with me was offensive to me, than I got my own problems to work out with Mrs. Kindy-Garten Techer.

The Halo series is overrated. They're both good games, don't get me wrong. They're also probably Microsoft's best game. But they're not the best games ever created. Not even close.

As for annoying enemies, pretty much any boss in Alien Hominid is annoying...

Ummmm, a bit more specific maybe? I do that on my Sonic Mega Collection on Xbox every once in a while, it proably owuldn't do anything to my xbox though, maybe to the Genesis, but not my beloved xbox! It can be pretty fun though, there is actually a secret ending in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 that you can only access through debug mode (there are no rings in the final level and for the secret ending you have to beat it as Super Sonic.)

A bit of Yoshi's Island has convinced me on this next one:

PRetty much any Goonie, especially if you're trying to do a lot of jumping. They get in the way. Even more so if they drop bombs!

I agree about the Wizzrobes in the original Legend of Zelda. The only projectiles that hurt them are sword beams that you can only shoot at full power, and once you get close to them, they either disappear, or hurt you and disappear. They are really annoying.

Cliff Racers from Morrowind. They're not difficult to kill unless you're at a really low level, but they tend to show up right behind you every five seconds, so you have to stop and kill them. They make travelling in Morrowind really annoying.

I also agree about the Floor Masters in Wind Waker. Mostly for the same reasons as the Wizzrobes, only they don't vanish.

Probably more when I remember them.

OK. I have to say this now:

PRetty much any computer controlled opponent in Puyo Pop Fever. But I hate the Frankenstiens especially.
