What's your favorite of the ones I've listed? I tried to pick the most popular ones out. So don't get mad at me if your favorite one's not on there.

My favorite, believe it or not, is Istanbul (Not Constantinople), but out of the ones up there, I'd have to say Expirimental Film. I don't listen to that much TMBG.

Ever heard of "Other"? Not trying to be mean or anything, but seriously!

When you're following an angel, does that mean you have to throw your body off a building?

I put Experimental Film, but I like Istanbul the most.

Birdhouse in Your Soul. It's pure musical genius.

They'll need a crane, they'll need a crane, to take the house he built for her apart, to make it break it's gonna take a metal ball hung from a chain...

They'll Need A Crane is the best song ever.

oh man... particle man, constantinople... those are like teh bestest. but i voted for experimental film, cuz it gets stuck in my head and i sing it in the shower a lot (along with constantinople). "birdhouse in your soul" is also one of my favs, as well as "someone keeps moving my chair" and "your racist friend" and "you're not the boss of me now." GAHH! too many good ones.

I don't want to sound stupid, but who are TMBG? Another American-only band or something?

They Might Be Giants is the band that did "Experimental Film," the song that is used in the music video on homestarrunner.com with the same name. Their music is also used in several American movies and TV shows. The band has been around for quite a while. Check out their Wiki, This Might Be A Wiki. The neat thing is, TMBG are also fans of Homestar Runner

This will probably seem very unbiased, but I say The Experimental Film. Not just because of the H*R toon, it's just great. Anyways I like most of their songs a lot. They're cool.

Don't Let's Start, with Birdhouse in Your Soul at a very close second.

Gaah...can't decide...I just started listening, man, don't torture me like this! Um, probably Birdhouse in Your Soul, or Damn Good Times, or possibly even She's an Angel, or something or other off of Mink Car, or, um, um... *points* Look, a hovering sombrero! *runs*

In other news, the "ice cream and pie (ice cream and pie!)" line in John Lee Supertaster cracks me up for no apparent reason. Someday I'd like to make a YTMND out of that...

...darn, I've never heard Spiraling Shape. As I said, I've only just started patronizing this organization and am barely qualified past the level of entry-level poser.

Ooh, cool song. Still diggin' my blue canary though.
Speaking of Flash music videos on DeviantArt, I like one for the Traveling Wilburys song "Cool Dry Place" done by a 14-year-old kid. *mutters*the priveleged...*muttermutter*little*mutter*

Toastpants!

WAUGH. It seems like everyone my age has Flash. Heck, the guy who makes Nate's Flash is, like, a year younger than me and has it. (or does his school? i can't remember)

Hmmm...Thats a toughie. I'm torn between Experimental Film and Istanbul. I'd have to say Istanbul, for it is a classic. And it's very popular. I've heard people say it on tv all the times! Just a couple days ago, My sister was watching GIlmore Girls (Gaahh...I hate that show so much.) And whats-her-name's Mom started singing it. I dont remember thier names. But now she got it on dvd, and wont stop. I've been very close to preforming Hari Kari witha salad spoon mulitple times. Maybe just doing it with the salad. Now thats the way to go.

And Einoo, I have flash, And I'm only 13! Ha! But my mom's a teacher, and that stuff it so expensive, so we get the super secret teacher discount (Dont tell them its not for her class!). So instead of 400 smackers, It was only 90 Bucks. I'm not very good, but I'm learning fast, and have a great Mentor! Not to mention the guys over at the squidi forums who used to help me out. Ahh...Squidi...I miss you so...

Hehe. I just got that song for my ringtone for my phone yesterday. Yay me. It's the only one the dumb Virgin Mobile had of TMBG, but hey, it's awesome.

Dude. Yes. Very yes. Flans singing or squealing in a high-pitched voice is awesome. Like in "Youth Culture Killed My Dog". Xyzzy, I recommend you on checking that song out very much if you alreadyn't have. Haven't already. Um. That sentence didn't make sense. Oh well.

I definitely need to put that quote somewhere.

So many TMBG songs I like... I went and voted for "Ana Ng" off of that one, but "They'll Need a Crane" and 'sperimental film are grand too.

It was a great advertising gimick. I actually bought the CD after watching it 3 times. I was also suprised TMBG were still around...haven't heard about them since Particle Man & Constantinople.

I am a 17 year old college student majoring in Visual Communications (art and computers! the best of both worlds!) and still don't have Flash. Have I been techn0wned? Exobably yes. They got Flash in the Mac lab, but I'm too busy with work for classes I'm actually in right now to noodle around with 'em any...also, where is my right clicking? Oh, right click, I pine for you! T_T

Well, if you have wireless internet on your phone and don't mind having the whole entire song on your phone (it won't ring the whole thing anyway), you can go to http://musicrobot.com and search for whatever song you want. (or, to save time/cents per kilobyte, search for the MIDI beforehand and note the URL for phonetyping goodness later.) That's how I got this keen "Birdhouse in Your Soul" ringtone - though I admit I'm currently using "End of the Line" by the Traveling Wilburys. (I can't help it! it matches the wallpaper!)
Oh yeah, and it's free. W00t.

...later I'll come in and post up a picture of my current computer wallpaper. It's even funnier if you frequent fark.com.

Toastpants!

...oh yes, and now I'm going to be saying "alreadyn't have" for the rest of my life. I am filled with gravity. (gratitude...)

I have only heard two TMBG songs. I have listened to Experimental Film and the Malcom in the Middle theme.

So I chose The Experimental Film.
