I know it's not technically a boss, but the last 8 "choppers of america club" races gave me trouble in Midnight club 3: dub edition

Lots of bosses are hard...
Culex in SMRPG and Yellow Demon in Megaman 1 (He is pretty hard without cheating) pop into my mind first.

I agree with you on the yellow devil. You only get one chance to attack him and then he sends all his pieces to the other side doing lots of damage to you. I practically went crazy when I finally beat him. ...But Culex? all you have to do is make sure peach has the trueform pin, destroy one of his crystals by using rock cany's and just make sure your health never drops too low. I can't think of a boss that still gives me trouble now, but I have spent tons of time trying to beat bosses for the first time. Games that had difficult bosses the first time are:
  • Metroid Prime
  • Donkey Kong games
  • Earthbound
  • Zelda games

Well yeah, it depends on stuff you have already done as it's an RPG game... I admit he is easy if you have all of the items you may need.

But hard bosses... I have to say that I find the King Mammoth hard in Live A Live. You have to spend a hour or so levelling up for him.
And Bloody Mary in Terranigma is very hard.

Ruby and Emerald Weapons in FFVII.

Ultima and Omega Weapons in FFVIII.

I'm proud to say I actually beat them all. Except for Omega Weapon. It's just not possible to beat it, I'm sorry. Not possible.

Bunji Kugashira form Gungrave. He has the cheapest move in the history of gaming, he has a super kick that will hit you no matter what direction you move to avoid it.

Culex was terrible. Very hard boss.

One of the toughest boss battles I had was Bonetail from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door.

I just remebered one,

In the Mario RPG there for the SNES, there's this one guy who's like a blacksmith, he's really hard to beat because he can make his own little sheild guys.

Culex was easy. I actually had a harder time beating Birdo in Super Mario RPG. Stupid egg launch...

And you know who else was hard to beat? The final boss of Mega Man 64. I forget his name, but it took me FOREVER to beat him. Forever. Like, three weeks, which is forever to spend on one boss.

Butt Dance Man: Ruby Weapon is easy, if you know what you're doing. I recommend looking for strategies on the Internet. You can't do it without Knights of the Round, though, so you'll need to breed a Gold Chocobo before doing anything else. The whole process took me forever.

Ganon (not Ganondorf, Ganon) in Ocarina of Time. heck, I still haven't beaten him. Others that come to mind are K. Rool in DK64 and the Shadow Princess in Paper Mario 2.

The fish boss (forgot its name) in Zelda: Majora's Mask was really hard.

Yeah, I spent so long on that guy that I stopped playing the game for a while. Then when I came back, I beat him easily. Why does that always happen?

I don't remember any boss I have fought, but haven't beaten... But I'm sure there are some.

I find Lavos' final form hard in Chrono Trigger. A hard final boss, but an easy game.

Mike Tyson from Mike Tyson's Punchout.. Hardest freakin "boss" EVER!

Only one I haven't beaten.

I've pretty much beaten every "boss" I've come up against in the other games I've played.

The only other hard boss I can think of was Kefka in FF3.. Mainly because you had this long, multiple battle kinda fight.

Ah, you mean Punchinello. The guy who made Bomb-Ombs to protect himself.

I'd have put up Majora's Mask for a tough boss, but I had a really easy time with him, since the first time I fought him, I had Fierce Diety's Mask. :P

Actually, if you just jump dodge it when you see him charging up for it, you'll be fine.

For me, Abyss from Soul Calibur 3 is the worst. There doesn't seem to be a difficulty meter on that game. It's stuck on hard.

I had the hardest time beating the big cloud boss (I think he was called Huff'n'Puff) in Paper Mario for the N64.

Well, I dunno. I'd say all final bosses are equal.

Except for Drawcia at the end of Kirby Canvas Curse. I beat that, in like, halh an hour. The game I beat in a week.

No, I meant this guy.

I think he's called smithy or something (EDIT: it is). You get the last of the seven stars from him.

When I fought him, only Mario had any magic point things so no one was doing any damage.

I used to have trouble with him, but by the time I got to him in hard mode, I beat him first try with a lot of health left over.

Some others I remember
Cackletta in Mario and Luigi. She has a near infinite HP you start with 1 and you have to destroy her arms and head a dozen times before she finally dies

Dark Riku battle 4 in chain of memories. He kills you pretty quickly if you aren't careful. I spent a good weekend of playing time trying leveling up to try and kill him.

I'm trying to say Drawcia is easy. If it's a hard boss for me it usually takes me a few hours. And the during the half hour I was pausing a bunch.

Ooh, a couple of bosses from Golden Sun were ridiculously hard. I had the hardest time beating Saturos in the first one, and in the second one, Star Magician killed my four times before I finally won.

Golden Sun has some tough bosses, man. Awesome game, though.
