Futurama, no contest. It just has more flat-out humor, while Family guy relies more on pop culture jokes, which are stupid and easy to do. My favorite all time Futurama quote has to be "And an elephant who never forgets-to kill!"

Futurama is fairly entertaining, but even though I realize Family Guy is dumb and immature humor, it really makes me laugh out loud more than almost any other show I can think of, in spite of itself. Last night's episode is a good example.

In a comedy series, I don't usually like the episodes that involve emotions like sadness and pain, which is why I voted for Family Guy. The Seymour episode of Futurama made me cry, and I watch shows like these to make a bad day better, not worse. Kinda like M*A*S*H. When Radar left, I almost cried. I like the episodes where Hawkeye and either Trapper or BJ play a practical joke on someone.

Since I've been watching Futurama more, I like it more, so I vote Futurama, I mean c'mon, it has a plot, unlike family guy. Which is just random everything.

Oh snap! That's my favorite episode. I can't believe someone can make an epiosde so sad yet funny at the same time. Like Bender sounding like Amy. Or that bee happy song.

Futurama may just beat out Family Guy here. I wish they had done more with "future" problems in Futurama instead of having them face everyday kind of problems most of the time.

The Simpsons beats them both, though. ;)

Honestly, I don't really have much 'access' to Family Guy, and even when I do see it, I don't like it enough to tune in regularly. Although Stewie is cool.

I'm more of a Futurama girl. It really had a lot of heart. I personally think that in many ways it was better than the Simpsons--you had fewer characters but you got more in-depth with them. Plus it has Zoidberg! How can you not love Zoidberg?

I never really liked Bender, though. Reminds me of a guy I dated. >_<;;

Another great thing about Futurama is that yes, it was an insanely hilarious show, BUT it could also be very touching at points. (The ending of the episode about Fry's dog from the 20th century is SO sad)

Yo, Futurama is way funnier then Fanily Guy ever could be.
And a lot smarter.
Family Guy has it's moments, but Futurama has that edge that makes it constantly funny.
Also, you never, ever feel for the characters in Family Guy. Futurama you can relate to.
And that is why Futurama is infinitely better then Family Guy.

Heh, these are just opinions, guys.

That said, it isn't actually that hard for me to see why a Family Guy fan wouldn't like Futurama. They're two different types of humor. The reason I pitted them up against eachother is because typically they're back to back on Adult Swim, and I usually watch them both. For Family Guy, you have to be able to enjoy random humor and stabs at pop culture, and for Futurama you have to kind of appreciate a science fiction storyline with humor mainly basing itself around the plot.
