Just wondering. I'm going to be one when I get a liscense.

Probably. I don't really care what they do with my body once I kick the bucket. So why not do one last favor to humanity and save a life?
I mean, I doubt I'm going to need the organs.
If I'm dead, I'm dead.

Same here, J. I mean, why not?

Yep, my permit has that little heart that allows anyone to have whatever the doctors can salvage from me.

Yes, but I am afraid that the paramedics will be less willing to save me if that see that part of my Driver's Liscense.

"We're eating steak tonight!"
"Why?"
"This man is a donor!"
"YAY!"

I think so. I have my license filled out, but I don't carry it around much so I don't know which organs I'm donating and stuff.

I'm a donor. Or if I'm really strapped for cash, I sell them over the black market. Who really needs a liver anyways?

I dunno, but I'd pay at least 30 bucks for your soul...

I might, but I'm not completly certain.

Though I would like to do it after I die. The idea of losing an organ while I'm still alive makes me feel...a little uncomfortable.

Well, I was looking at $3 for it, but $30...hmm....

I guess some people might not wanna do it 'cos they'd rather keep their body together.
I'm perfectly okay with it though, I mean, once your dead, it's not like you need them anymore.
As long as it doesn't happen like in Monty Python's The Meaning of Life.

When I get older, I would like to help...But that would ruin the plans of having my body fangouriously devoured by a gelatinous monster...(awesome death....right next to a severe skydiving accident...)

They take it when you're dead...

Most of the time.

Don't worry about it.

I'll have to look in to it. Maybe I can do some good in this world after all. :)

Just make sure you let someone responsible buy that thing. I sold mine to Sree and it got into some crazy hijinks.

I'll probably become an Organ Donor when I get older. I mean, really. What good are organs to me if I'm dead?

I think people calling themselves organ donors is funny because it seems to imply that they've already donated organs. But I have the utmost respect for organ donors and am one myself. You can't take it with you...

One of my teachers once told me, "don't just sign the card, talk to your family about it. If you simply check the boxes on your driver's license, they still ask your family, and the easiest response for your family members during a time like that is just 'no'".

Oh cool... I'll remember that. I think my parents know that I'm an organ donor, but I'll remind them from time to time now.

Especially since I've been going sans helmet lately... heh. Whoops.

I've talked to my parents about it, and they're glad that I am one. They just hope that it doesn't happen any time soon, obviously.

i don't know, but i don't think i'm allowed yet. although, once i get a liscence, i will. someone taking your dead organs is only like looting an abandoned house. you can also have my money and my fillings. but they're not gold. only porcelin. cheap dentist. okay, i'll stop now.

Makes sense, doesn't it? I don't care about what happens to my body when I'm dead. I'll be dead. I mean... Duh.

Well not really. You sign a little thing that says drs can use your organs. It's not like "Oh this guy's dead, let's just take his liver." They check you license first.

Burned.
