To Mr. Strong Rad: It isn't like that with everyone. While I myself prefer Nintendo over Sony and Microsoft, I am willing to respect the other consoles, and even like some of the games on them.
Shadow of the Colossus, Katamari Damacy, and ICO are a few non-Nintendo games that I adore.

But it's a different case with me when it comes to the Xbox. I don't like it because the console is amid toward's an adult audience. I'm not an adult, and I never plan to be one. Or to be more specific, I will not play M rated video games. That's one of the biggest problems for me, becuse the library for the console is mostly focused on that rating. That's why I'm not getting an Xbox 360.

This is why I love Nintendo so much, their games are accessible to anyone. I don't have to worry about language being used, or blood and gore being added, or any other horrific thing. I can feel safe with their games.

And the Playstation 3 is just far too expensive. And I still think that Sony stole Nintendo's idea. But I'm willing to admit that the graphics on that system are VERY impressive.

With the new annoucements on the Virtual Console and the Rumors of an IM service for the Wii. PLus all of the Wii-DS connectivity options there is now no doubt in my mind the Wii will be the best (not best selling though) console out there.

But I will still buy the PS3 later, I still will never give up my 12-button gaming no matter how revolutionary the Wii is.

When it comes to impressive graphics, check out the new game Crysis, which isn't for a console at all, but PC. Have you seen its graphics? One word: WOW. I'd like to see the PS3 do THAT!

The Wii still looks plenty impressive enough for me. I've seen some screenshots of the upcoming Pokémon Battle Revolution, and it looks terrific! Cartoony, yess, but the Pokémon ook lovely and glossy. It may not have high polys, but that system has one heck of a nice lightning engine.

To be honest, I simply don't care about graphics anymore. The last generation's consoles had enough eyecandy so as long as graphics do improve, I don't care about which one has the best ones.

And I chose Wii just because my favorite series that have rarely failed me are on Nintendo consoles.
That's a pretty simple reason, isn't it? But honestly, I think it's enough of a reason to choose a console before it comes out.

All that "omg ps3 will be better just because i said so lol" and "omg wii will be better just because i said so lol" and "omg xbox360 is better just because i said so lol" I see on the internet makes me mad.
People, just enjoy what you enjoy and let other people like what they like.
Jeez.

The price is the main reason why i'm not getting the PS3, or at least not right away. I would like to get one eventually, but not for a few years.

Actually, Sony admits that they didn't come up with the idea, and pretty much stated that they got their info from Nintendo.

The announcement of having a motion and tilt sensitive controller followed Nintendo's announcement of similar functionality in their Wii Remote controller at the Tokyo Game Show 2005. Sony executives have spoken on the matter, saying they are happy to admit they have not started the wave, but have jumped onto the wave, because they believe it will be one of the defining characteristics of next-generation gaming. Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto has called the similarity flattering, but unconcerning.

Okay, you are really freaking confusing me. Are you a boy or a girl? I believe you've said both on separate occasions.

That's called OMG-FANBOY-itis. It's a swelling of the Fanboy section of the brain, as illustrated by this diagram.

*hilarious pic*

This causes the person to be blinded by one console and view other consoles as inferior. The only treatment for this afliction is to have the patient play the other systems.

I concur. One case of this is right here
. lol, fanboy who gets all his facts incorrect.

He's a guy. He made that post before he revealed that, back when he told us all he was a girl.

And yet, here's the same guy bashing the DS.

And I hope you're quite aware that the DG/BTG post you responded to was bashing a PlayStation fanboy.

Nintendo Revolution (Yes, I know it's actually the Wii).

Although, I can't afford it just yet. I might get it about a year or two after it comes out, depending on how I'm doing financially.

Three months? I really don't cinsider it a "heckuva bump". If it was a year bump, then that'd be another story...

Have fun paying $600+.

The Wii/Nintendo easily dominated E3. So many good games, so many new features and whatnot. Nintendo has been testing my loyalty the past couple of months, and it finally delivered.

Quite untrue, the Wii did well, but if you look at the top games of E3 list the 360 owned it.
