Defenitely Mario. He's always been my favorite (Though I do enjoy Banjo and Kazzooie)

You should probably change the titles of theses polls to fit the topic.

I agree. If mods or admins see the titles, they may lock it without even have to see what's inside it.

Mario, he was the first video game character I played with. I have so many fond memories of him. Though I like Luigi a bit more.

But Sonic is just as great, after playing Rush on the DS, I am convinced that his 2-D games were just as grand.

I used to like both the same, but Sonic has been going rotten. His games have much darker and creepier storylines now, and his newer game "Shadow the Hedgehog" actually has a bit of profanity in it.

Mario is still nice and sweet, so I vote him for that reason.

I was never much into Sonic. The music is great, but his games are pretty average. They have a whole lot of fast running, but overall, I say meh.
Mario games always make me happy. As a matter of fact, just seeing the plumber's face somewhere raises my mood. I don't know why. He's simply cool.

Hmm....Well, Mario's a freaking legend, but Sonic was all I played when I was a wee boy....soo...I chose Luigi. He never gets enough attention.

Sonic games never had profanity in them in the early days! The point is that he's getting dirtier. I mean, it's not like he's South Park or anything, but his clean image is dissolving.

Oh, and Rogue the Bat is a bit... graphic for a kids' game, don't you think?

That's because there were no words in the early days. I can't even remembering if there was any text in the game outside of telling what board you're on.

Well yeah, I suppose, but even back in the Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 days, they didn't use profanity. Now they are.

Look, I'm not saying a bit of profanity is a big deal. The point is that it started out as something that was 100% squeaky clean that is now getting worse. What makes you think Sonic games aren't going to get even worse from here on? Why won't they start using "f" words and have blood in future Sonic games? I predict that Sonic will eventually go completely rotten and foul.

Mario hasn't started that yet, so that's why he's much cooler!

I own Sonic Advance 3, and I love it. Sonic is just the coolest guy in the world, I always loved him. Mario is different. I like the games, but I don't like HIM that much. I mean he's annoying and ugly and red.

Mario is way, way better than Sonic. Especially since the Sonic games have gone so horrifically downhill lately. Just look at Shadow the Hedgehog. You have to really suck to get a 1 on X-Play. And yes, I have played the game. And yes, it sucks.

I kinda wish Nintendo didn't rely on Mario so much, though. Then again, Zelda Tennis or Kirby Power Baseball might not be best sellers. Besides, the Mario sports games are actually really good.
