| Post subject: | Green Day vs. Blink 182 |
Two awexome pop-punk bands. Discuss. Green Day - Definetely more punk than Blink 182 in the old days. Name a song more punk than Basket Case and I will shoot my face. Other than that there's Walking Contradiction and Nice Guys Finish Last, also punk hits. Their new album American Idiot is more pop, and they definetely have more emotion than past albums. Blink 182 - Pretty much all pop-punk. Dude Ranch included some songs worth mentioning, one of which was a hit, Dammit. I feel that their later pop-punk music is better, I don't like their earlier, purer punk as much. I like Take off Your Pants and Jacket, which has Anthem Part 2 and Story of a Lonely Guy, along with three hits. In my opinion, I like Green Day. Green Day seems to have more fire. Blink 182 seemed like a bunch of crazy guys running around playing a few chords. I do like Blink 182 a lot too. As a friend of mine who was too obsessed once said, "All Green Day is a bunch of horny perverts. Oh wait, that's what Blink 182 is." And that's the end of my starting post. |

Anything by Mindless Self Indulgence. Hope you enjoyed your face. I like Green Day better, for the sole reason that they do not have songs about having intimate relations with your mother. |

I know you can't change the poll now, but still. Again I say, this is comparing them. These poll options don't say, "I love Green Day, Green Day is the awesomest band ever!" and "Blink 182 pwns, they are the best band ever nothing comes close!". This poll asks which one you like better. If you want, you can say something along the lines of, "They both suck, but if I had to choose the lesser of the two evils, I would choose Green Day/Blink 182." I promise I won't get angry if you make posts like that. I often don't get mad at those for some reason. It's the ones that say, "They just plain suck" that get on my nerves. |

Well OK. But I REALLY dislike both of them. Pretty bad. But...if I HAD to choose ONE...I...would say...Green Day because Blink's lead singer sounds like a baby. |

... Of those two, my favorite is Green Day. They're pretty cool. I don't remember the last time I heard Blink 182. |

Green Day, especailly their older stuff, is by far better than Blink 182. I'm not saying that Blink sucks, I'm just saying that Green Day is on a whole different field. A better field. |
