Nope. But I think those stats would be true if it was: one in five kids have had multiple slideshow presentations presented to them by the school consuler/police man/principal/teacher/whatever on "cyber bullying/harassment". More like, 4 in five. And most of it is just on using the most basic common sense. In fact, the golden rule should be: if you're enough of an idiot that you can't find the internet explorer button, you shouldn't be on the web! |

No, I haven't. I got a death threat once, but it was from a troll on a forum I used to go to (it closed, sadly). And it wasn't really a death threat. More of an insult with too many swear words in it. |

How about "if you're enough of an idiot that you don't use Firefox, you shouldn't be on the web!" No, I've never been solicited. I'm not an idiot. And the only way you can be killed is if you specifically arrange a meeting, or say EXACTLY where you'll be alone. I'm not saying the kids who get killed deserved it, but lonliness can lead to you being pretty stupid. |
