That is beacuse Homestar's and Strongbad's adventures are more G rated and no death can happen. Hm...maybe they would win...
I am the MASTER of cartoon logic. :p

Plus, I hate Bonus stage.

Any particular reason?

Well, it was funny at one point. However, Matt Wilson seems to hate his fanbase, and often relies on swearing and sophmoric humor to get a cheap laugh. (this is especially true with the later episodes) Plus, and I've said this before, Bonus Stage is really unoriginal.

Annd that's why. You may disagree with me, but I'm sticking to my reasons.

Yeah, but who said H*R and SB couldn't come back from the dead? Actually, SB and H*R, being wacky cartoon characters, can't be killed, only harmed in some funny way. Joel and Phil, on the other hand, have shown that they can be killed, and often die atleast once per episode. Matt Wilson's gonna get tired of bringing them back eventully, and then they'll stop existing.

(cartoon logic is fun!)

Since when did either of the pairs work together, anyway?

I would say it depends on where the fight is held. It's always been my assupmtion that the one-week death rule applied to anyone who entered the BS universe. (Indeed, in the first version of Morbid we see the H* characters in hell, meaning they must be able to die.) Conversely, I suppose anyone entering the H* universe would be bound by its rules (if it has any). So if the fight is in FCUSA no one will ever die, but if it's in Charismaville anyone can.

Hmm. Yeah. good point. I suppose it would all depend on what universe they're in.

I will cite my first point, though: Since when did either of the pairs work together?

I think each of the pairs would fight amongst themselves more than they would try to fight the others.

Maybe Strongbad and Homestar, but I think Phil and Joel could fight the common enemy together. They are friends...sort of...

Yeah, they're friends who hate each other.

They've even had an action fight in the recent past, so I wouldn't rule it out for the future.

But the action fight wasn't just for no reason. Wasn't that in baby ballface must die or something? Oh well, I'm sure you know more about Bonus Stage then me.

Yes, it was in Baby Ballface Must Die. It wasn't for no reason, but it wouldn't have happened if they generally got along.

Yeah, you're right. I still think they would win, though.

H*r to the limit. I saw, like, 5 1/2 episodes of Bonus Stage and it was HORRIBLE!!! :sm: That kind of random crap humor symbolizes the decline of society. Plus, saying that Bonus Stage is better than H*R on an h*r forum is just really stupid, treasonous, and/or blasphemous. Big [s]Brother[/s] Homestar is watching you. :hr:

*sigh*

It's not about which is BETTER. It's about who would WIN.

I hope nobody has to repeat that again.

(I argee with you on the point that saying Bonus Stage is better on a H*R forum. Seriously, does it say "BONUS STAGE WIKI FORUM" up there? No! Anyway, enough of that. Back to the stinkin' fight.)

Cool. I said Joel and Phil because Joel is an inventor and Phil's got powers. HR and SB got nothin'.

homestar won a wrestling match against strong bad, and strong bad does know a bit of wrestling (hence sibby)
don't forget that episode.
"why didn't you save me? you have super powers!"
"what? i'm not saving you!"

That's a really tough descision... I chose Joel and Phil. Their adventures are much more exciting and stuff, Homestar and Strongbad are hilarious, but different in that sense.

Just did, by quoting you...I'll get thegunslinger too make it more obvious that it's a fight and not a comparison at the title. But, you get +10 cool points for watching Bs, Alamoo.

Well, Joel & Phil were Time Paradox'D Snake! What's wrong with you! You created a time paradox! Don't go changing the future like that! so they're dead so... Homestar and StrongBad don't even have to throw a feather to win.

They're not dead, are they? Just exited out of the simulation.....so when you say Joel and Phil....I guess you have to mean the ones from High Score, who are presumably alive and well.

Post subject:

Phil can't see though, so he's obviously out, but Joel, I might have to contemplate about that retarded scientist depending on all his sources of power. Wait, Phil cut himself with an axe, and Joel Hung himself, so they are dead.

Author:  Dark Grapefruit [ Tue Jun 06, 2006 3:52 am ]
Post subject:

Yes, they are dead permanently. They died in episode 1 before Joel had a chance to build the resurrection machine. Because Joel built the continuity device before he died, he was able to preserve the original timeline in which they were not killed. But that device only ensured the stability of the timeline between episodes 2-86. After that, in episode 87, the effect wears off, so Joel and Phil are dead again. Then the universe unravels due to the grandfather paradox Phil created. They certainly have not exited the simulation, although some other characters may have been able to do so before the end.

Is this which cartoon is better?
Or who would win the fight?
Also, why did you say Pom-Pom and Homsar, and not put it on the options?

It's who would win a fight, but both Joel & Phil commited suicide, so HR and SB automatically win without trying.
