Ok, when a new person comes to the forums, and wants to post with a certain subject, but there is a thread of it burried deep, what should he do? Peoeple yell when year old threads are risen. and people yell when the topic has ABP'D. What would be the better way out of this? sorry if THIS has ABP'D 
searched, couldnt find one. |

I'd say brand new topic. I mean, that's just cluttering up the forum, ya know? If you bring back an old one, it's more... more better...

New topic. Ugh. It drives me crazy for some reason. Especially when it's acknowledged that another topic exists, but yet it remains active. I refuse to post in any topic that has ABP'd. I guess it's just a pet peeve. |

Heh well I'm sure you guys remember a couple weeks ago when I ressurected 5 different threads. If you want to make a new thread, find that it already exists, and state that when you post, nothing bad will happen. |

Spam includes: ... c. Asking questions that have already been asked or giving answers that have already been given. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO POST IN AN EXISTING THREAD THAN TO START A NEW ONE. |

Making a new topic is worse. You should definitely post in the old thread. Making new topics eventually clutters the board with repeated topics. |

I view it as worse when someone makes a new thread when one exists. The only time necromancy annoys me is when people revive a thread and make a post that really has no point. Look at some of the later posts in the Harry Potter thread if you want examples. |

I don't agree... If you have something worthwhile to add to an thread, I have no problem with you posting in one. The only problem I have with necromancy is when people revive a thread and say something like "yes, they're stupid" or something. |
