I can hear 18000Hz. Which is good for a guy with scarred ear drums.

Um.. the numbers on the page are all 10X what you've put in the poll options. Want me to fix that? The highest I can hear is 16,000 Hz.

I got up to 22000. Just barely though. Doubt I could go any higher.

19000 Hz. By 20000, I just hear silence.

I can hear 2200 Mz quite easily.

But then again, I have very sensitive hearing.

Depends how high you have the speakers on.

22000 Hz. I'd say that's really good for someone who's almost 22 who goes to clubs and concerts, and plays his own music. I had my speakers at 50%.

17,000 Hz on these speakers. They give out after that.

I tried it someplace else before, and I think I can go up to 18,000 and 20,000; possibly 22,000.

I'm sure some of you have the speaker problem.

If I hit 21,000 Hz, I get a sound that is high, but lower than 8,000 Hz, so obviously the speakers aren't rated to go that high. My speakers do play a sound when I hit 22,000 Hz, but it's certainly not 22,000 Hz.

I can hear it; but I think by that point it's probably quite badly distorted by the PC.

I got to 22,000. Not bad for me, since I have the worst hearing of anyone I know.

Maybe I had my speakers on too loud.

16,000 is as high up as I can hear. I guess I'm getting old or something.

Oh, thanksImage.
Well, I guess I don't have the absolute worst ears on the forum... but I had the worst in my science class last year.

Oh, no, you want them loud -- if you can't hear it, you probably won't hear a thing (but your ears might start hurting).

Anythign past 1800 I feel a sharp pain inside of my head. I hate dog whistles

I can't hear comfortably past 16000.

I also have a tendency to play my iPod as loud as it can possibly go...

Hmm...
