Are you a Geek or a Nerd? Definitions: Geek: I hate Homework... So I will make a MMORPG and play it!!! Nerd: Yay! Homework! Yay! Star Trek! Cool: I make fairly good grades. I'm a great athelete. Most everybody likes me. Oh yeah. LEATHER JACKETS!!! (We couldn't find a cool person to do this one so we hired a dork) Dork: Stupid F's. I guess I'll play a video game, or just play basketball and win! (He will not win at basketball and will only get past the first level in the videogame) |

I was a band geek...or band nerd...we used the terms interchangeably and didn't really define them to the extent that this thread does. But I chose geek here, since that most accurately describes how I was (got good grades, didn't like homework, wasn't very social IRL but learned to be social online). |

Nerd/Dork. I'm kind of a nerd, but I'm not smart enough. It's kinda sad... I feel sorry for myself. But for some reason, among my friends and I, a nerd is a cool person, who knows a lot about nerdy/geeky things. |

I think I'm a geek according to Weststarrunners post although I don't play MMORPG"s. I've always thought as geeks being nerds minus the practical smarts which is me to a T, so I'll go with that. |

I knew some guys at college you'd like--view the world less from an interacter's point of view and more from an observer's point of view; few things seem to phase them; intelligent but not pressured to "live up to potential,"; take simple pleasure in things burning. Funnily enough, almost all the pyros I know are like that. |

In some cases I'm cool. I have a large amount of freinds and can act cool. Yet I may be a geek in some cases because I'm usually bored so I just go on a PC..... I think I'm more geek than cool though...... |
