Which type of video game world do you like the best?

I like ice worlds, I guess.

Edit: Yes, this poll does suck.

As soon as I saw this I thought of the levels in SMB3. Such a great game. So naturally it'd be...Desert.

I like worlds set in space, but since that's not on the poll, fire levels.

Does lava count as fire? I love lava levels. Like the gauntlet challeneges on Ratchet UYA.
A hate water levels. So slow and tedious.

I like ice levels...nice and cool-flavored. I really hate air levels, though, as I'm always really nervous about open heights--even if it's just in a video game.

Not all video games follow this sort of pattern.

Shadow of the Colossus, Katamari Damacy, Chibi Robo, Ikaruga, and Animal Crossing are a few to name.

Mine isn't on that list. Space. It makes me feel like I'm in a dream...

From Ahnonay III to Super Mario Galaxy.

I love forest levels best. They're usually so calm and peaceful, and I can't say no to climbing giant trees. XD

I immediately thought of SMB3 too, but I like ice levels.

I love forest worlds. One of my favorite games is Psychonauts, and in the forest areas in it, you can climb around, swing on branches, and do all kinds of fun stuff in the trees.

I don't see how Animal Crossing counts as the type of games we're talking about.

But yeah, I probably should have added a "other" option.

When I saw this poll, I thought about the classic side-scrollers of yore, so I'll go with that. I kinda like forest levels because they would usually be the first levels in a game and easy to beat. You could take a lesuirely stroll or blast through the level without a care. I hate ice levels because of the usual 'slide off a block of ice to your doom' thing that seemed to plague every game.

Half of the entire game is in a forest! Ah, such fun.

I have a certain dislike for water levels because of the turture that I was put through in Ratchet and Clank(Blackwater City, RAGH) but I like all the rest.

None of my top three are on there (1. Non-lement-based, like a city or a building; 2. Space; 3. Air) But, out of those, I'll go with Ice.

I went with Desert. The desert area in Sword of Mana... and the areas in Shantae... both awesome levels.

My favorite area in that game is the swamp place with the giant bug-trees, simply because it's flippin' INSANE.

I like shadow levels. Mostly because it describes the entirety of most Castlevania games.
