Maybe the two best RPG of all time. (Maybe I said MAYBE so dont complain!) Which is better? |

Meh. There are RPG series I like more... Oh, well. I like DQ better... While FF used to be pretty good and FF6 was simply AWESOME, they have made pretty uninteresting stuff recently. I know, I know, FF7 was pretty interesting (at least before they started overmilking it), but still. Meh. Square (okay, Square-Enix, but I don't really think Squeenix ever had any charm) has lost its charm. However, it isn't as evident in the DQ series. Dragon Quest, while it doesn't have exactly anything like FF6, is in my opinion better as a series.. Is still love my FF6 though. Kefka rocks. |

Final Fantasy is better overall. But Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga is the best RPG of all time, so these two dont matter! |

Yea, I don't play/care for them much either. But I have played the pokemon games. And you do have to figure out some 'puzzles' and that stuff. So I wouldn't necisarilly say they don't take skill...just a different kind. |

People don't play RPGs for the challenge. It's all about the story, man. I don't really have an opinion here, as I've never played Dragon Quest. |

Dragon Warrior totally kicks the butt of FF. The reason most people like FF more is because I'm sure they haven't played as many Dragon Warrior games. It has more interesting games, plus they created Dragon Warrior Monsters, my favorite RPG ever made. Oddly, my second favorite is FF1. So amybe I'm slightly bias. At least nobody has started touting how good FF7 was. |

You ROCK! Dragon Warrior Monsters is awesome! I looove that game. They'd better bring Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker to the US, or I'ma have to start kickin' some boo-tay! And I have to say, if RPGs are all about the story, then your average FF is waaaaay too pretentious and over-the-top for my tastes. |

Meh, Dragon Quest was always too boring for me. Not that FF is much better. Personally, I think that the earlier Final Fantasies (the actual first 3, like, not the crappy American renamed versions) are way better, in terms of gameplay, than the new ones. I liked how your character was customizable, in a sense. |

Well, never played Dragon Quest but I HATE Final Fantasy it is soooooo over-rated. Off Topic: Have any of you ever heard of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic? Proably the best game I've ever played, hands down the best RPG I have ever played. Hours upon hours of glued to the t.v. game play. Seriously, if you have a Xbox or PC, buy it. I guarantee you will love it and this is coming from someone who isn't very fond of RPGs. |
