welp, i choose nintendo...im a die-hard nintendo junkie....and i dispise sony..*stabs a ps2*

So, he makes one typo, one spelling error and a couple of capitalization problems. Do you really feel the need to "translate" that? It just makes you look like a bit of a jerk, in my opinion.

Anyways, I'm partial to Nintendo. The N64 was the first console I played a game on, and it's always been the company my familyy purchases games from. So, being the only gaming company I really knew or cared about for a while, it makes sense it'd be my favorite now.

I don't really have a favorite, it could go either way, what this topic is doing is promoting people that, unlike me, are ridiculous megafanboys. And that disgusts me.

Hey, I voted, and there's no way I'm a ridiculous megafanboy, I have a Gamecube, a PS2, and an Xbox for crying out loud. I just like one more than the other.

How is it doing that...? It's asking what your favorite gaming company is... You don't have to be a huge fanboy of something to have a favorite.

My favorites are Konami (Caslevania!) Hal lab. (Kirby!) and Nintendo (A freakin' large number of great games)

Nintendo is the only one on that list, so I voted Nintendo.

I dunno, I kinda like them all. I have or used to have one of each type of the consules mentioned. Each has it's own little blend to it.

As far as gaming companies go, I'm an Insomniac and Critereon fan.
But in those choice I would say Sony. My favorite games of all time are on Playstations. The PS1 is what got me into gaming.

Actually, the thing I like most about Nintendo is the variety of the games they make. They're not afraid to come up with new stuff. Don't get me wrong, I have played and enjoyed pretty much every console made since the 8-bit era. It's just that the games in their series always manage to feel refreshing.

Okay, by now I have probably managed to make people think I'm an obsessive fanboy. Meh. I don't even care anymore.

It's gotta be Nintendo, though: it's what I grew up with. Donkey Kong Country was my first game ever, and I didn't play a console by a different developer until my dad got a PS1 when I was ten.

ps2 sucks. psp is slightly better, but nintendo admitted nintendo DS is a girly console.

But we're all not hardcore Nintendo Junkies. I mean, I have the semi old gen big three (Gamecube, PS2, X-Box). I think I qualify as a non-fanboy.

Nintendo has stated numerous times that they want to make gaming available to everyone, but I've never seen them say that with the DS.

And it's a handheld. I think Nintendo can tell the difference.

I'm sorry for that Prime Time, but I don't like people stating things without a little source.

And Shadowflash, Nintendo is alot older then you think. They've been here since 1889.

I personaly wish this poll was quite a bit bigger. I like to support third parties as well.

Like Square Enix, Q Entertainment, Sega (they are a third party now), Namco, Capcom, and Treasure.

Well, I have to choose I suppose. But I can't. It's between Sega and Nintendo.

I've always grown up with Nintendo, and will stay with them untill their final days. And while the Gamecube could have been that, it didn't matter to me.

I suppose the Gamecube was like the Dreamcast, and with that, I think Nintendo fans felt like Sega fans trying to support a dying console.

I have respect for both companies.

WeirdAlFan and ready for prime time, if you're going to flame the PS2 for no reason at all...give us a reason. Ever tried PS2?(and answer like "oh yah i tried it for like five minutes and it sucked because there was no mario" and...well, you'll probably look really stupid. Just a word of advice.)

Anyways, company? Insomniac. I like small companies because:
- They aren't mainstream and mainstream has been known to cheapen things.
- Insomniac made Spyro. + 50 points.
- They also made Rathcet and Clank. + 700 points.
- Uhh...add another fifty points for the heck of it.

So there's my two cents. I personally favor Sony because Nintendo fanboys are the worst kind(of console, anyways) if they're the type who would start a ten page long flamewar about how everything else sucks(no one here is like that, of course.) and Mario is "pwn". But I guess any fanboy could do that. Of course it would make me angrier if it was a Nintendo fanboy.

Funny. Nintendo is the only console doing something different. Besides selling a $600 console, anyway. I mean, come on. I'm sure the PS3's graphics will be very pretty. But what gaming innovations will it have? Putting a MP3 player, a digital DVD player, a hard drive, etc. is useless. I have an iPod and I have Tivo. (Besides, what's the point of these things? A stationary MP3 player that can also play CDs? That's just encouraging people to pirate.) I want to finally be the guy in the game! And Nintendo's letting us do that. You can swing the remote like a sword, use it like a gun, you can get into the game. I'd much rather do that than have a few jagged lines go away.

No offense taken because you pretty much hit the nail on the head. Except for the part about saying "Mario is pwn" because, believe it or not, a lot of Nintendo fanboy are tired of Mario(not me of course). But, yeah, Nintendo fanboys have got be the second most annoying fanbase ever, right behind Sonic the Hedgehog fans, but that's a story for another day.

But, not all Nintendo fans are annoying of course. I don't go around bashing other systems for stupid reasons and I'm sure all the Nintendo fans on these forums don't do that ethier.

You see more crazy, annoying fans because, through my experience, it seems there are, overall, mroe nintendo fans than there are for any other company. SO, since there'sprobably a ratio of good fans to idiotic fans, you're gonna see more idiotic nintendo fans than microsoft and Sony fans ('Cause the idiotic fans are the only ones who find the need to saymuch, as we all know) Pretty annoying that you've gotta be in the same group as people like that, but then again, you can't be in any group without people like that. As long as every groups got a bad name, you're back at level ground, eh?
