This is almost as important as the Pirate vs. Ninja concept/poll...or at least, this was what my friends and I in high school discussed in the same way that pirates and ninjas are debated over today. So which are cooler: vampires or werewolves?

Personally, I prefer werewolves, but then that ties into my own personal spiritual beliefs more.

Vampires FTW! Seriously, vampires beat out both Werewolves and ninja's. They have formed an alliance with the pirates though.

For those who don't know who that is, Nosferatu is a vampire.

I think my love of vampires stems from my love of Hellsing. Now that is a great manga.

Hm, tricky, but I say vampires. I even look like one (Very pale skin, my two "middle" teeth (The curvy ones between the front, straight teeth and the molars) stick out, and... well, that's pretty much it. I don't suck blood, unfortunately. But I could if I wanted to, so that's a plus. :p

Even though I went with werewolves myself, I have to give props to the granddaddy of all vampire stories. I have the original Nosferatu film here (well, obviously not the original MUSIC, if you know about the film's history), and I must say that even for a very early film, all silent, and my German only being so-so, there are images in that story that are downright creepy.

Werewolves, man, werewolves! Vampires may be frequently be portrayed as deliciously hot and attractive in many a fantasy story, but they're not furry and cuddly. Well, uh, OK, so werewolves are'n't really all that cyddly either, but they're still COOL, man.

I'm sure that picture was in the end of a Spongebob cartoon. It still scares the heck out of me.

Anyway, I think that they're both equal. Vampires has that haunting charisma, can turn into a bat, and strike when the time is right. Werewolves, however, have that brute force, are regular humans, and attack anyone who comes into their path.

I'm not so sure on this. They each have severe weaknesses in battle. Vampires cannot go out into daylight, and warewolves are pretty useless unless it's a full moon.

I guess the warewolf weakness is a lot more severe than the vampire one. So vampires win.

Bampires!

Werewolves, because they never get any respect. Vampires have this dark mystique and rich history while the werewolf seems to get lumped together with generic monters like the Creature from the Black Lagoon and well, other half-animal creatures. Also Vampires just wear on my nerves after a while. Okay, mostly because Vampires wear on my nerves.

It was! It was in the episode with the "Hash-Slinging Slasher."

Werewolves rule. Mainly because I used to have a character that was a werewolf, and he was awesome.

Werewolves man. They can rip you to shreds, unlike Vampires who can only bite your neck. Maybe they can try to cut you up with a sword, but all classic vampire hunters know how to do that. And they have a ton of weaknesses. Werewolves are awexome. They even have a mafia-esque game like them.

And Didy thinks my monkeroo sprite is a warwilf. Bonus points!

Well, if a were-wolf was to bite a vampire, he would also turn into a were wolf, creating the ultimate hybrid: WERE-PIRE!

But, what kinda vampires are we talking? Balding, not-very-fast Nosferatu vampires, or the Castlevania vampires? It makes all the difference...

Have you ever had someone near you that just ate garlic? If you did, you'd be scared of it too.

Well, just remind your werewolf friends not to eat garlic with silver forks.

In my book, vampires aren't killed by garlic, or sunshine, or holy water, or stakes, really.

Well, if you piece their heart they'll die, but any way'd do it.

Vampires are cool because of three things.
1. Thier accent
2. Their coolness and intelligence and sharpness
3. Their accent

But what about one o' them wampires like from Underworld?

Vampires. Because werewolves are hairy.

Actually, no. Vampires suck blood. They're all scary! Werewolves eat people, or bite people... They're less interesting. I mean... Vampires are cool.

Vampires are hotter, and just a bit more sophisticated.

Plus... know what else? Me + Bela Lugosi = Same birthday.

Heck yes!
