This might have been done already, oh well. Since there are so many Zelda fans, I want to know which one was your favorite. Mine was oracle of Seasons. Second Zelda game I ever owned. Although I started playing Ages recently and its pretty good. Also if you are wondering about the Phillips games they were these really bad games made by phillips corparation trying to make a console.

The only ones I've played are the first Zelda game, Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask. I loved all four so much, but OoT was tops for me of those four.

You played the first one and the third one but not the second one? Was it because it had less strategy? No money? Link had a kilt? You didnt have the money? You didnt care or all of the above?

Very old but still APB'd i think that we should keep this one because the other one is 2 years old.

anyways, i vote Ocarina (of corse) but Windwaker had a lot more sidequests that were fun.

i cant believe I forgot it was called Wand of Gamelon, along with faces of evil and Zeldas adventure. I heard it on Icons or Gamemaker (Gamemaker is and always will be the best show on G4 along with X-play and maybe Star Trek 2.0)

I'd have to go with Majoras mask.
It was a great game with a ton of sidequests!
Plus it had the special masks which gave you powers!
It doesn't get better than that!

Ocarina was the first for me, and will always be the best. I was initially very suspicious of it, I thought... "Anything this hyped has to be horrible." How wrong I was.

Well, the first Zelda game I played was Wind Waker....so that is my favorite game. I have Ocarina...but I'm only a little ways through that so I can't really make an informed decision.

You forgot the two BS Zelda games. But that's to be expected.
I though Link's Awakening was the best one. Zelda is best in 2D form if you ask me, and Link Awakening, for me, has the best and msot intriguing story line, great dungeons, great overworld., the perfect amount of humour and they through in some Chain Chomps, Goombas, and Kirbies!

This one and the Starfox one make me wish I'd kept up with games the past few years...

If Ocarina or ANY of the newer Zelda games is better than Link to the Past, that would mean it's definitely time for me to get back into Nintendos again. Link to the Past is one of the best games ever made.

Ooo, this is a tough one for me... Ocarina of Time is amazing, but I'm going to have to go with The Legend of Zelda. You gotta give it to the game that started it all.

Whoo boy. This is going to be a tough one...

While Ocarina is absolutely the bomb, it's one of those games where if you play it once, you can do it in five minutes.

Majora, howeverm had many numerous sidequests. Also, you actually cared about the characters, you actually gave a care about whether or not the moon crashed into them. The characters in Ocarina are great, but you can never get a look at their personalities after you finish it, y'know?

So, it's Majora, for me. But only just...

Ocarina of Time, best thing to happen since sliced bread. And then Majora's Mask follows closley behind...

I guess its suspected that people arent picking oracle because ocarina was so good. I mean, I didnt get a console until 2004 in May on my birthday. I mean sure I played Ocarina but the orracles were some awesome and incredibly different from links awakening.

I never had the pleasure of playing anything beyond 'Link to the Past' (except Minish Cap whish was okay), so LttP is my vote. That and it's a really great game.

I actually played Majora's Mask before Ocarina, and it's always seemed like a more fleshed out game to me. So many sidequests, I love the clockwork timing and the transformations, and the genuinely creepy atmosphere, especially at midnight of the third day.

I will give credit to Majora where it's due: Majora's characters are not only the best in a Zelda game, they're among the best characters in any video game ever. They have real personalities and real lives; they're PEOPLE, not just nameless stacks of polygons stuck in the game to repeat some bit of information over and over again.

And I DO love the Oracle games. (Game?) They're very good, with great puzzles, engrossing worlds, and a lot of yummy playtime even though they're only handheld games. Plus, they had the "buddies," who even though they weren't Epona, were still loads o' fun. Dimitri was the best!

And I think that NO ONE will vote for the Philip CD-i games.

Anyway, I'd say Ocarina of Time was the best. I played Zelda 1-3 Ocarina, Majorus, And Wind Waker. Majora I might be able to like if it wasn't the Gamecube's Collector's Edition version.

It broke the trend of playing the game, losing interest in three months, and returning to it.

I have, or share anyway, the remake to The Ocarina of Time for the Gamecube, and I like considering I never owned a Nintendo 64 and I get to play it at home instead of at other peoples houses. So do they have a Majora remake? And if not, I think they should make one. Or put it on the Wii. Either or, really.

Wait, you have an option for the yet-to-be-released Zelda DS (Phantom Hourglass), yet you don't have Twilight Princess up there? Image

For me, it's Ocarina of Time. I only got up to Dodongo's Cavern, but I should really go back to playing that game. I didn't really enjoy Majora's Mask, but I should of given it a second chance since I only played it about 45 minutes before beginning to hate the time limit idea. I thought that since I was slow at playing games, I'd lose this one easily.

Ah well, Wii's Virtual Console downloads FTW. Image
