My favorite is Metroid Prime. It has all the fun of Metroid Prime 2 without going back and forth through Dark and Light worlds. Oh, and I am ordering them through the Metroid time line. Then Metroid Pinball.

I would vote Super, but I haven't played it yet.

Currently Prime. The reason I like it over Prime 2 has to do with the storyline. While Prime stayed with it, Prime 2 barely made it into the canon.

Otherwise, I would say Prime 2, becuase the graphics, expansions, and enviroments all were very well updated. Sancuary Fortress is still my favorite place in any Metroid game.

Of the ones I've played, I'd vote for Fusion. but I'm sure I would vote for Super Metroid if I had played it before.

Metroid Prime: Hunters, then Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. MPH may not have had a single Metroid in the game, but I mean c'mon, the Wi-Fi battles were awesome. AWESOME I SAY!

Metroid Prime 1 and 2.
I voted 1 because it was a little better than 2. Mostly because the bosses in the first one were a lot more creative and fun than the bosses of MP2.

Metroid Prime, followed very closely by Metroid Prime 2. Mostly because of the pioneering factor.

That's true too. After all, this was the first Metroid game in 3-D, which was going to be created by an unknown 2nd party developer in Texas. Not to mention there hadn't been a Metroid game in quite a bit of time. And without Gunpei Yokoi, the series on the Gamecube could either be one of the best games in the world or go the path of other games that didn't do so well in 3-D.

Oh, and Retro Studios is now a 1st party developer. They're owned by Nintendo.

Another close one here, but I'm going to give my vote to Metroid Prime over Super Metroid. But that could be just because I didn't play Super Metroid until about two years ago.

Why is Super Metroid so popular?

On a silly note, are we going to have one of these for every video game franchise? :P

On toastpaint, I voted Prime 2. Good graphics, good if cheesy story, and I loved the music. I also loved the depth of it, what with all the scans just fleshing out the world. On the downside, no Ridley. And that's a cryin' same. Also why MP1 is my second fave. It also had the Chozo, and everybody loves the Chozo.

But I'm a-thinkin' MP3 might become my new favorite. It's supposed to have the Chozo too, AND Ridley, AND Dark Samus, who looks like she's gotten quite the makeover... or else that could be one of the new bounty hunters. Who IS that purple gal?
