It's more about post quality than post count. I try to be careful not to raise my count with meaningless posts because I used to be on a forum several years ago in which I did just that. And now, a TOTPD.

Once you've been on the forum for a few months, you know which posters you respect and which ones you skip over, and it's got nothing to do with post count or joined date. I will say that when I notice a new person join, and then they have something like 1200 posts overnight, I have a tendency to think they are either spammy or attention-hungry, neither of which I find endearing. If as I'm reading the posts, though, I find that they are at least interesting, then that makes up for the skyrocketing post count. |

It isn't that I think of them as inferior, just that I would trust them only a bit farther then I could throw them.
I beg to differ with your third sentence. Would anyone here like to attest to my literacy? Hmm? |

Well, I've been on the forum longer than all but 4 members, and I think my post count is pretty small. But don't judge me by my post count. Cause I'll ban you for the fun of it. I think it's silly to even think you can judge someone by the amount of time they've wasted on a website. |

You know, on how much of a dork they are how how much of a life they don't have. I'm a perfect example. I haven't seen the light off the Sun in a year and a half!

Sometimes I do it subconsciously, but never on purpose. And I am against it and find it somewhat silly. |

What else are we supposed to do on the internet? |

Um, educate ourselves? Be productive, perhaps? Yeah... We just spend all of our time looking at cartoons on the Interweb. Pity us. <snickers> TOASTPAINT'D!! |
