So? You think Homestar and Marzipan should get hitched? |

I voted Pat Buchanan, but I really meant Pat Robertson. |

I voted Pat Buchanan, but I misread it and thought it said Sid Frenchman....or was it Sid Hoffman.... Marzipan can do a lot better than Homestar...well, maybe not a LOT better, but still, I think she can do better. A wedding between Marzipan and Homestar would be horrible--just think of their children. *shudders* Little brooms that run around saying "Sewiously" all the time.... |

When those to get hitched I'll have lost alot of respect for H*R. I voted Pat Buchanan. |

They shouldn't get married. They don't get along too well. |

I think TBC said it right when they said when Marzipan and Homestar get married and have a kid, then they've jumped the shark. Personally, I wouldn't want to see them get married. I like things just the way they are now. |

Yeah, I think I remember them saying that. You're right too. H*R.com has dug itself into a happy little niche and I would be quite unpleasant if it budged. A lot of the humor on the website comes from Homestar Runner and Marzipan bickering back and forth, never pleased with each other. Homestar's "Cardboard Marzipan" will always be a classic moment of hilarity in my heart. I voted a definite no. A marriage in the H*R series would throw everything out of wack. Things would turn into a freakin' sitcom if that happened. We Homestar Runner fans fear change. After all, it's a cartoon, things are best kept the same. Oye... I don't even want to imagine what would happen if they had a kid. Introducing a new character would be ESPECIALLY nutty for the site. NO MARRIAGE! |

Though I wouldn't mind a new character, just not Homestar and Marzipan's offspring. |

I suppose... But a website as popular as H*R.com doesn't really need a new character. In fact, a new character could be quite risky for TBC. Introducing a flop character that provides no humor and no creative edge can be lethal for a hit cartoon series. Anyways, that's just my opinion. Who knows, TBC could come up with an amazing new character that adds a whole new dimension to the site! I'm not quite sure. I do know, however, that a Homestar Runner-Marzipan offspring would NOT work. Just talking about it makes me fear for the site...

However, I can't think of any possible way a child of Homestar and Marzipan would be funny or worthwhile in any way. Now, a child of Coach Z and Marzipan would be pure genius, but that's a whole different story.

You know, the risks outweigh the bennifits. So no. Although I'd like to see a kid between them in one eppisode.(like a homestar version of alternate reality, where him and marzipan get along, get married, and have a kid.) |

Is it absolutely necessary to include a third, nonsensical option in every forum poll? Homestarrunner.com is too much of a comedic site to get into dramatics (and realisms) about marriage, me thinks. I like it just the way it is. |

No. Just the ones that have two real choices. If there are three, then you add a fourth, nonsensical option.
I voted Buchanan. |
