So, you guys want a FUN poll eh? Well... I did have a LAME poll idea in my head, but I suppose a Fun Poll would make things more enjoyable for the rest of you. Man, I almost let you guys slip my mind when I started this poll! Note to self: Remember man, there ARE OTHER USERS on this forum besides yourself. "Beaums" isn't the only user you know. GET THAT IN YOUR HEAD!! Anyways, let's get on with this, shall we? As all you avid Homestar Runner fans undoubtedly know, http://www.HomestarRunner.com has a series of "Popups", located on the very top of the site. All one has to do is click one of these Popups and it's amazing power is unleashed for you to see! These Popups include: "Quote of the Week", "Weekly Fanstuff", "Sketchbook", and "Random Toon". Now then, one of these Popups has been added more recently when compared to the others. This Popup is... RANDOM TOON! So what does this little dealy allow you to do? Well, once you click it the little button with the letter "R" on it, it appears to you as a Popup. This Popup looks like a little black bar with rounded edges and a screen in the middle. Once it is set free on your screen, it immediately gets to work. With added sounds for an enhanced effect, it scrolls quickly through a list of random H*R cartoons, slowing down as it approaches it's destination. Once it has selected a toon, a different sound goes off and you are immediately directed to it. If you don't like the random selection, you can click "Again" on the tool before you are redirected. Click the link for more information on the Random Toon button. The Wiki knows ALL! So, now the poll comes into effect. How often do you use the "Random Toon" tool? Select one of the various options above, vote, and discuss it all here. It’s just, that, EASY! So go on friends, yet your mouse guide you straight and true. God speed. |

I use it sometimes, if I can't choose which particular toon to watch. And I also like to be surprised. |

i love it. i used it and found out there was alot of stuff i still hadnt watched! its always great to see new stuff. |

Same with me man. I'm not a constant user of the tool, but I find it quite useful and fun at times. The Random Toon tool has even reunited me with some of the greatest toons I flat out forgot about! Yeah, I guess I owe it some kudos for that... Keep those comments flying ya'll, and keep voting! |

If I just need to pass some time I'll head over to the website and click the random toon thing. It's pretty useful if you want to watch something off the site but just can't decide. |

I don't use it very often, but sometimes I'm bored and remember it, so I use it a bit. Most of the time I randomize again, though, as I've seen almost everything on H*R countless times. |

True dat. I often like to use the Random Toon tool to reflect back on older toons that might have slipped my mind. Strong Bad Emails especially. Sometimes I get too caught up in the more recent ones, and I forget about the older ones. That's when the Random Toons swoops in to save the day. |

I use it occasionally, just to see what pops up. Um, I don't think you needed to tell us all about the site and the popups and the wiki. I'm pretty sure we know about it. |

Well... a reminder of a devious plan to assassinate some one might have hurt some one... but what I said still stands! And plus, I'm not one of those guys that'll post a one sentence thread. Sometimes I think we just need to read a little more than "vote in my poll please!". |

When I use the Random Toon tool, the majority of toons that come up are Sbemails. Sometimes I'd rather just watch toons, shorts, Powered By the Cheat, etc., and emails can get to be a bit of a nuisance. I don't know if Sbemails should be straight out removed though, I still like watching the occasional random one once and again. |

The random button on the email menu an the random button on the main page are two different things... Do you mean the buttons on navbar and the main page being two different things? |

I guess I could have better worded thing that said me. |

Same here. I use the random option strictly when I'm bored. When I do, sometimes I watch whatever it chooses, sometimes I click on it until I get one of my favorite episodes - it all depends on my current state of boredom. |

Well, it looks like the majority of the votes are going towards the option: "Every once and awhile, sometimes I get pretty dern bored.". I guess that's basically what I expected. Man, there sure are a lot of bored people around here... It isn't me... IS IT?! |

Occasionally. I did it last night and saw some fun stuff, like sbemails like "personal favorites" and "myths & legends", and Tgs #9, I think..... and also "More Fan Costumes Commentary" or whatever. And the new toon about a deck. And a few other emails. Good times. |

Of course there are times when there just isn't anything going on. On here, or elsewhere. That's why the random button is great. |

Interesting... Well, voting is still open, but I'm close to concluding that the Random Toon tool is the best cure for boredom on http://www.HomestarRunner.com. I usually don't have time to go and select cartoons, so I pretty much use the "Random Toon" button a lot. Like, over 3/4 of the time. |
