I checked the search, so I'm guessing this poll hasn't been done before.

Who is your favorite superhero from DC Comics?

Ahh...DC Comics, creators of Aquaman, the lamest superhero next to that Monkey that followed those morphing twins around.

I voted Batman just because he has that song, plus, without him where would we have gotten "POW!" from?

Batman is just my favorite superhero period. I never read the comics (come to think of it, I've never read ANY comics, save for stuff online), but the Tim Burton films and the animated series that followed in the early 90s was seriously awesome. Detective work, drama, complex characters and emotions, original plots--all the stuff that a great series about a superhero SHOULD have. Those Batman cartoons that came after it just could never hold a candle to that series, IMO.

I am a sworn enemy of DC, but I voted Batman because the one thing I hate more than DC is Superman.

Marvel is cooler, but Flash is okay, as well as Aquaman.

I love Marvel too, but I limited my poll to DC superheroes to avoid a Marvel vs. DC war. ;) (Marvel vs. DC was already done in another poll.)

Hmm...this is tough. I like The Flash. I mean, he don't get enough credit. But Batman is great too. He's human, with no super powers. But yet he can do all these great things.

I know. When you really stop and think about it, it's a tough decision.

Yeah, how can you compete with 'Mazing man?

Image

The 'Mazing Man series depicted the misadventures of Sigfried Horatio Hunch III, a benignly deranged little man in Queens, New York who dresses in a homemade costume and performs deeds like unclogging drains and watching out for local children. "'Maze" tends to sing Simon and Garfunkel songs when he gets into trouble.

Actually, I'm a bit surprised that I'm the only one who's voted for Superman. I know the Big Blue Boy Scout can be boring and rather white bread. But he's still the first superhero and the most powerful man in DC, so that's got to count for something, right?

I admit, his comics can be pretty boring, but he gets major props from me for the movies (especially the first "Superman" and "Superman Returns"), the TV shows ("Lois & Clark" and "Smallville"), and the leadership in the Justice League Cartoons.

Also, I think that new Grant Morrison series is doing a good job in making Superman an interesting character for comic book readers.

I sent my vote out to Aquaman. He's a bit of a misfit when compared to the other superheros, and he gets pushed around a lo. COme to think of it... he's quite the outcast. I guess that's what you'd expect from the son of a lighthouse keeper... But nevertheless, he's got a heart of gold! And let's not forget his dynamo powers! He can communicate with and mentally control all forms of sea life, breathe underwater, swim at fast speeds, and more!

Lmao at the Aquaman spoof in "Robot Chicken". Heh heh... classic hilarity.

And don't forget Aquaman almost got his own show on the WB. Somehow. The pilot episode is on iTunes.

I much prefer DC's Vertigo line of comics. Sandman, Hellblazer, Animal Man, and the like. So I voted Other.

Marvel is better, but Batman is the best DC superhero.

EDIT: With Wonder Woman in close second, because I have a crush on her.

EDIT x2: Because I'm a dork.

I too think Marvel is better. Can't beat Stan Lee.

As for DC, I'm not a big superhero buff, so I'd say Batman, with Superman a close second. I've always liked Batman because out of all the superheros, he's the most believeable.

Totally. I mean, with some of the ways the other superheroes got their powers (Given by an Alien, coming from another planet, lightning striking a lab), Batman's story is definitely far more believable.
