I'm just gonna say full throttle because it's the only kind I've had. And it works. I haven't tried anything else, so don't base your poll entirely on me. |

You missed [s]Bullhooooooonkey[/s] Red Bull, but that's good because that stuff does nothing for me. I had to use a bunch of these for a trip to visit my brother (long loooong drive) and each gas station sold a different one, but I was so out of it I forget which was which... even though there was one kind that definitely worked better than the rest and it wasn't Rockstar. My friends swear by Rockstar though, so I'll vote for that. |

I've had Red Bull, and it's not too bad. But Jolt's the way to go. |

Coffee is my energy drink. So if you had to distill that even further, probably that Starbucks-in-a-can drink. |

EDIT: PROOF! I read about that. Some "African American Civic Leader" was leading a boycot of the beverage and pretty much stated that anyone who didn't agree was celebrating the toll that cocaine was having on the African American community. |

EDIT: PROOF! |

"Cocaine" is a pretty dumb name. Yet, somehow it fits in with the whole history of energy drinks. Like when everyone though Red Bull was mad out of illicit substances. In the same way, it feeds into the whole mystique of "So what IS exactly in this drink, anyway?" |

Well, where do you think the name Coca-Cola comes from? While I can't see how this could be successful at all, it's still more clever than like, "Monster", or "Rock Star"...well, not really...but... at least they tried? Anyways, I voted SoBe, 'cuz thats the only one I've had before. And I don't even know if it was the energy kind. But whatever.
Oh, and post two-fiddy. If that's any means for celebration. |

It wasn't until 1914 that cocaine was made illegal. (Coca-Cola was founded in 1884.) Coca-Cola has since distanced itself from its "cocaine" roots. I don't know many people who pick up a Coke nowadays and wonder if cocaine is an active ingredient. |

Actually , Coca-cola still has cocaine in it, buts so small of an ammount that it cant even effect anyone, even if they drink a whole 24 pack times 12. |

I just drink like 5 bottles of diet vault if I want to get some energy. But, since I used to be a hardcore coffee drinker, not much stimulates me anymore. |

Choc-o-Lardiac Arrest wrote: Actually , Coca-cola still has cocaine in it, buts so small of an ammount that it cant even effect anyone, even if they drink a whole 24 pack times 12. Not anymore. They stopped sometime between 1925 and 1930, depending on where you get the info. Snopes places it at 1929. Snopes.com wrote: How much cocaine was in that "mere trace" is impossible to say, but we do know that by 1902 it was as little as 1/400 of a grain of cocaine per ounce of syrup. Coca-Cola didn't become completely cocaine-free until 1929, but there was scarcely any of the drug left in the drink by then.
Wikipedia seems to think it still exists, sort of. Coca-Cola doesn't put cocaine in their drink anymore, but, the coca leaves they use still contain VERY small traces of cocain alkaloids. I don't know how much I believe that, though, since the cited source is a book about baseball. |

If you tried it, wouldn't you know how disgusting it tastes? Or was the disgust so extreme that it rendered your taste buds numb before you could register its disgustingness?

I'll usually partake in a snifter of Red Bull, but I went with Rockstar. To me, they both taste essentially the same, but Rockstar comes in bigger cans! So you... more bang for your buck. Plus, it's called freakin' Rockstar man! When I'm feeling bagged between dance classes, I'll book it over to the nearest 711 and hook myself up with a coooool Rockstar. |

Cocaine being so expensive, why would they waste it? (Speaking from a business point of view.) But I don't like energy drinks. Mountain Dew all the way! |
