This began as a small debate on the IRC channel. Do you prefer pancakes, waffles, both, or neither? |

They're both good, but pancakes rule all. I had some this morning! Mmm... dough... |

I have a Carlinism that would be perfect for this topic, but it would be inappropriate to say on here. I prefer pancakes to waffles, especially blueberry or apple. |

I perfer the spongyness of the Pancakes to the crunchyness of a waffle. They're both good, but I'm going with the pancake. |

Waffles man, waffles. Pancakes are too spongy and soft. Plus, waffle is one of those inherently funny words. |

My thoughts exactly. Pancakes are like waffles, only 5QU4R3'D!!! And it's hip to be square!

Once again, a random poll, but I'd have to pick waffles. In fact, I eat them for breakfast every morning! |

I prefer pancakes simply because it's hard to evenly distribute toppings over waffles. What with all those little... squarish dents in them. |

Pancakes. HOwever, since I had them 5 hours ago, I really don't want to think about waffles or pancakes. It makes me feel vomit-level nauseous. |

i don't like waffles because they're too hard to prepare. first there isn't enough batter in the iron, then "oh no!!! it's dripping into the heat control!!!!" |

Waffles, definitely. They have that crunch. Mmmmmmm. Pancakes, on the other hand, are usually doughy and get cold very quickly. |

My dad can make some kickawesome pancakes, and they're definitely FTW, but I prefer waffles. Why? Because I have a waffle maker. |
