Definitely inspired by GI Joe. The one Blue Laser guy with the raspy voice and the eye patch is almost certainly Cobra Commander.

Blue Laser...hilarious.

This was definitely a nice treat to find this morning.

You know, TBC sort of make every Monday morning seem like Christmas...
Except when there's nothing new...then it's like a sucky Christmas.

Thanks Santa Chaps!

Am I alone in thinking that this would make a great new feature?

LOL...

I hope TBC will use that drawing style again in the future...

Oh and did Ripberger (the red one) remind you too of those weird little ninja guys in the last level of Super Mario World?

It's interesting that The Cheat himself is not actually in this cartoon.

Pretty... strange. I like the GI Joe parody, but seeing a The Cheat talking normal just freaks me out. I was hoping the HomeStarmy would be in it, but it's still cool.

Two words: AweXome. I mean on word. Anyway, that was a hilarious parody of the toys going on in the real world! I'd totally buy on of those!

Such an awesome cartoon...

I'm trying to figure out the theme song. I can't understand much of it yet, but here's what I have so far...

Commandos, (quickly?) fighting for freedom
And fighting (something) the Cheat

Commandos, they'll be fighting some evil
I think ---???

Commandos, they're probably battling evil
Buy all our playsets and toys!

I liked the Apartment playset. "Oh, No! I need groceries! I wish my girlfriend didn't leave me!"

This was a pretty good episode. "We need reinforcements!" "Somebody call for me?" "REINFORCEMENTS!" And the show advert was so coull. (Ahem.) It just seemed a bit weird that those The Cheat things could speak proper English(e). Kind of took the magic away. But it's a welcome addition in my book, and even though I have no idea what the heck GI Joe does, (In England, our version of the action figure is Action Man. Is kind of the British GI Joe.) it was still as funny as a bag of weasels. "BLOW UP THE OCEAN!"

Oh, and "Ripberger"? Does anyone else see the Lucasarts connection? Or is it just me?

Wasn't Ripberger in Thy Dungeonman 2? I would buy those figures if they made them... so cool. Especially Reinforcements. "The One Coach Z Bought!"

Yeah, Ripberger was the magistrate in Thy Dungeonman II.

By the by, I think reinforcements is my favorite too. "Hard to see!"
Awesome!

GI Joe was created in 1963 as the first marketable boys' doll. To market it, the creators coined the term "action figure." I owned a 12" GI Joe when I was a kid, back in the 70's.

I remember having bunches of GI Joes when I was a kid...
I also remember them being VERY easy to break.

Ninja Turtles' arms came off really easily too...

I dunno how this is relevant, but there you go!

Commandos, maybe fighting for freedom
And each is sold separately (2x)

Commandos, they're probably battling evil
Buy all our playsets and toys!

He also sounds like the 1980s Starscream from The Transformers.

But none of those guys look anything like the Transformers.

I think the same guy did both voices. Both cartoons were made by the same studio. In fact, I don't remember too well, but I think there was a GI Joe-Transformers crossover show.

I almost want to go out and buy the toys, even though they don't exist.
I just think that The Brothers Chaps should make toys, or figurines, of the Cheat Commandos and sell them on the H*R Store.

My Opinion.

What is it with theme songs being so corny, yet so irrisistible?
