Put your comment about this toon here.

----

Okay, I actually laughed out loud a few times during this one. The first time was when Gunhaver pulled out that map and was talking about the secret headquarters. The second time was when the guys from Blue Laser said where they had really relocated to. And the third time was when the hamburgers were done.

Well done, TBC. And they finally have their breakfast cereal.

Oh, man, I was laughing pretty hard to myself early on, but when they showed the complete breakfast with caramel candies, marshmallows, and chocolate cake (*gallon of ice cream not pictured), I couldn't keep it inside.

This Cheat Commandos thing has a lot of comedic potential, and continues to show off the superb talent of the Chaps brothers. Awesome!

FIGHTGAR IS BRITISH!!!!! W00T!!!!!!
Back to serious matters.

It had moments where it was just hilarious. "Sir, the burgers are done." I just had a barbecue, too. I knew it was only a matter of time before the Cheat Commandos had another excellent cartoon. And this one is the extreme of excellence. I also noticed some funny stuff in the background at the end, for example, a glass of toffee. TOFFEE?

All in all, TBC have given us laughs by the bucketload.

it was funny.

BTW, in the end, don't forget to click on the cup of marshmellow (?sp) to see an easter egg.

They do great at parodies of character types. Mainly the Blue Laser Lackey. Maybe they'll voice Flashfight next time. I think the Cheat Commandos might continue.

That toon was hilarious! "Will someone get this cottonball outta my face?!?!" i have a wallpaper of Cheat Commandos...O's for anyone who wants one, drop an email by jdsiegler@semo.net and i'll send it to ya. i think this will go on as Strong Bad Emails did, keep going and keep getting more famous! TBC&M.P.! YOU ALL RULE!!!

*M.P. means Missy Palmer
Why did i put M.P. you ask? she might do Foxface's voice in the future. So until next time, Fightgar: "Those aren't O's!"

Great toon. I was quite surprised that the Chaps are re-using the Commandos so soon, but now's as good a time as any, I guess. I never imagined that Fightgar and Crackotage sounded like that, either. (Fightgar a Cockney? LOL.)

Who ate the last Bratwurst?

The Cheat Commando's have such wonderful slogans...

Cheat Commando's ridiculous breakfast!
Buy all our playsets and toys!

Also, what does Blue Lazor Commander say when they confront him? 'Well thats just (Pright?)

Either way, I am pretty sure it was a Beast Wars reference.
(Optimus Primal's catchphrase was 'Well, thats just prime!' Which was said with roughly the same intonation BL-Commander used.)

Crackotage's voice was interesting. It sounded like (the late :(( ) Scatman Crothers (voice of Jazz on Transformers). With Cracky's packaging saying that he "Listens to Jazz!!"...that's interesting.

Bubs voice always kinda reminds me of Scatman Crothers...

But yeah, Crackotage DID kinda sound like that as well... Although I think he sounded more like Blaster (The Autobots version of Soundwave) then Jazz.

I'm not sure who voiced Blaster though, it might have been Crothers as well. In which case the point is moot. :)

Funny stuff!

----

GUNHAVER: Come on, Fightgar! Just a little further! The secret entrance to Blue Laser's secret desert headquarters has to be in this secret desert somewhere!

BLUE LASER: The Cheat Commandos will never find our desert headquarters, since we relocated to my nana's backyard!

----

ANNOUNCER: New Cheat Commandos...O's...O'sy O's...sugar cereal, is a delicious part of this complete delicious breakfast!

----

BLUE LASER: What the crap?!

----

ANNOUNCER: And now, try Cheat Commandos...O's, with Fluffy Puff Marshmallows...O's.

----

MARSHIE: Ser-g-geant Marshie reporting for duty, sir!

GUNHAVER: Will somebody get this flying cottonball outta my face?

This is so funny. I would love it if this were to become a feature. I didn't think Fightgar was British.

Yay! Cheat Commandos is movin' on up! And I've got the screen name. They show a lot of promise and might become a feature someday. When that day comes, I will party on a sweet, sweet rainbow bridge.

I originally thought that Fightgar would sound more like Sly Stalone, "Yo, Adrianne!" He looks like him.

1. Anyone recognize the brand of cereal?

2. Anyone else notice this: At the part where Blue Laser points to the commandos and says "I hate you!" they look towards the barbeque before it explodes?

I also like how Firebert just shows up out of nowhere when the cereal is dropped, despite the fact that he wasn't there earlier.

80's cartoons tended to have little mistakes like that too. ;) (although here it was I think, done on purpose to poke fun at that fact.)

Anyone else notice how when the grill explodes, Blue Laser minion parachute out of the sky, just like when C.O.B.R.A. planes get shot down in GI Joe?

Firebert was there. He was in super ninja stealth mode. That's why you couldn't see him. Would you believe a wizard did it? Just repeat after me: "There are no plot holes. There are nooo ploooot hooooles!"

Most Hanna-Barbera cartoons have those mistakes, too.

From beginning to end, this was one of the best cartoons they have done. I am not one to laugh out loud very much, but I did about 3 times in this episode.

I like to see the creative branching out into other ideas. My favorite parts of h*r are when a new feature is intoduced. I have been emailing Bubs to get him to do an advice column -- I think that would be funny.

For example:

Dear Bubs, why don't I have any friends?

"Shut up, kid!"

Without a doubt one of the funniest toons i've seen on the site. At first I wasn't hoping for much because I didn't really like the first Commandos cartton, but after seeing this I see what great potential they have.

Plus, Marshie as a Commando is hilarious...

Um, maybe I'm just the only one thinking this, but doesn't it seem that Cheat Commandos originated from the SB E-Mail, "Army", where The Cheat dresses up as a commando (Firebert)?
