This might seem like a useless thread, but I wanted to more discuss the "Sbemail a-comin" prospect. For the last several months of being a Homestar fan, Strong Bad emails came every week or two, on occasion three. It is indeed nice that TBC want to let us know that it will be coming, but there's been a spike in these "coming soon" messages...have they been laxing off? Is it because the newer emails are bigger and more comprehensive? Post thoughts here!

Edit: I see there is another thread for this. But nonetheless
Been wanting to do this since I think it's a good idea. The poll, and I still insist we should do this each time.

Email was, well, cute. Not quite classic, but innovative, almost old-style where it just took a good joke to be funny. The Re: Fwd: Fwd: stuff on the screen was great, and ol mini marshie too. And now SB tells us there aren't any easter eggs at the end! Pretty good in my opinion, although not stellar.

TBC has been getting busier and busier each week. They had to do things with shirt re-designs, they've been bringing us two toons a week for the past 3 weeks, and they probably a whole lot of other stuff to do, too. They may be loafing a little bit, but frankly, I don't care, as long as they continue to produce quality cartoons, and I have no doubt that they will continue to, even if we get a "coming soon" note a few times a month.

Absolutely nothing can be as crap as tape-leg. So don't worry.

Yeah, the way tehy do emails now (after Tandy) they can't be any worse than theme party - probably not even close to theme party. I always excpect at least likeable emails.

Well, tape-leg is considered, like, the worst SBEmail ever.

I think TBC are spending more time on emails, and they don't wanna disappoint fans and they let them know when an email is almost done.

It's been there for a couple of hours. Let's just hope this is a good, funny, SOLID e-mail.

After all, we don't want a Tape Leg Two. Or three...

yeah, but it's not like it's recent, or has anything to do with this message.

If he said "I hope it's not as bad as modeling!" that would've made sense, but tape-leg? Why bring it up now, 2 years later?

Wait wait wait...Wasn't Homestar Hair voted the worst e-mail ever here on our forum? Just pointing that out.

Well, now I've gained access back somehow, but now the e-mail isn't there. You're right, Super Orange.

Do you think when they say "new sbemail a-comin'" they picked what email to answer yet? I hope so or else my emails have already been deleted by their server.....

Due to the amazingly long time it takes them to do an email, I'd say they picked it a while ago and are now just finishing it up.

I believe the Bros. Chaps stated in an interview that they spend the weekdays picking an email, writing the script, and doing the voices, and then spend the weekend animating it.

It's twue! It's twue! Don't trust the main page: IT LIES!

Well, I looked at it, and have to say it's DEFINITELY not Tape Leg 2. It's not hilarious, but it's funny. That painting bit was funny.

"THIS BROWNIE MIGHT KILL YOU!"

Na Na, La La, Hey Hey, Doot Do!

I think that's a reference to that one-hit wonder song that went, Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey or something.

IT'S UP!!!! And it's awesome!

I'll have to watch this again to see exactly how awesome, but there were several highlights. Chocolardiac Arrest, "To Strong Bad the Good Dancer", the painting in Strong Mad's closet and SB's priceless jibblie-filled reaction to it, the bite sized Marshie sequence, and especially the Limozeen song "Feed The Childrens". Now THAT one really hit home with the 80's rock side of me. My tentative grade for this one: either a low A or high A-.

From what I've seen so far its good, but It suddenly froze while strong Bad was hugging a tree. I wonder what's wrong. Is anybody else having this problem.

I thought it was funny. 10/10. But no easter eggs other than Strong Bad saying so. I did think Homestar's bottom was funny, though! :hr: And everyone's favorite psycho marshmallow came back, although with a weird new grinding face.
