Well, there's a new cartoon called Saddy Dumpington on Homestar Runner. I personally loved it! Saddy Dumpington scaring all the animals rocked! I also loved the Easter Egg at the end of Homsar.

I give it a 9/10.

Watch the toon here!

*EDITS OUT MOD NOTE BECAUSE I DO HAVE THE WIKI LINK :) *

This thread wins.

We got our wish: No Strong Bad.

Pretty good toon. Thank you, once again, TBC!

Man, I've never gotten to post one of these types of threads.

Oh well. This was hilarious, I thought. There was no Strong Bad, but at the same time there was no Homestar, or Pom-Pom. Overall, good prize!

8/10.

By far, the best cartoon in a long long time!

"I just saw a baby chick choke on a worm, and they both died! Isn't that great?!"

11/10

Good toon. The style of drawing in the story sorta creeped me out, but otherwise it was pretty good. I liked the easter eggs a lot too. Unfortunetly with the release of two back to back toons, this means that we probably wont get any new toons for a while now. Overall, pretty good toon...I'll say...7.5 out of 10 homestars.

HARK! To the folky tale of Saddy Dumpington! Isn't that great?

Good gravy this was one heck of a twelve-course toon. The moment I saw Saddy Dumpington on Strong Sad's Lament I wanted to see the character in action. It's like my prayers have been answered by the dieties that are The Brothers Chaps.

It's good to see Coach Z in the role of gym teacher/coach again. The relationships between the characters are sometimes so ambiguous that it's easy to forget their origins.

I also loved that, rather than focusing on Homestar or Strong Bad, this toon spent time expanding on the relationship between Strong Sad and Coach Z. Coach Z's strange interests and fixations (in this case the "dancing brothers") never fail to entertain. Of course, the whole idea of Saddy Dumpington and his warped exaltations of good cheer are a hilarious premise to begin with.

Ropes ARE for dopes.

I wish I was in Elementary School again so I could tell mt gym teacher that.

[late night, half-awake ramblings]Man, I could have *sworn* that "Saddy Dumpington" entry SSL was a joke by Strong Bad!

Hey, my two favorite characters in their own toon! Awexxxsome!!!

I had a feeling there were other "letter" coaches out there. I'm guessing they're all members of the Alphabetical Brotherhood of Coaching (ABC) or something like that.

Is it just me, or were Coach Z and Strong Sad more expressive than usual this time around? Especially Strong Sad.

I remember hearing somewhere that Strong Sad was the hardest voice for Matt Chapman to do. This episode must have been a nightmare![/late night, half-awake ramblings]

It was different. It was weird. But, I liked it! Homsar holding up the rope. How classic.

Correct me if I'm wrong but are you asking for a WIKIIIIIIIIII?!

Anyhoo, I am very amused at this toon's humor. A piece to smile at.

HIGHLIGHTS:
-Ropes are for Dopes
-"I just saw a baby chick choke on the worm! They both died! Isn't that great?"
-Homsar and the rope (CUTE!!!! XD)
-Dancing Brothers
-Bubs and Homestar chat (kinda reminds me of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas)

9/10

That  was random. Funny, but random.

Can we expect more Saddy Dumpington after this?

I give this a resounding...

HOLY MCMOLY!

No SB, no The Cheat, no Homestar... WOW! I am impressed! I loved this, too! Still gotta re-watch it, but woohoo! :ehsteve:

When did this get put up? What time, exactly? I just now noticed it on the main page ... and subsequently was very entertained. :D

Finally, no Strong Bad! And plenty of Coach Z and Strong Sad! Proof that TBC isn't merely milking SB for all he's worth.

Totally unexpected, man. Especially since Cool Things came out, what, like a week or so ago? Who knew they'd do another non-SB E-mail toon so soon?

Saddy Dumpington and the Dancing Brothers. Comic gold. :D And hey, we finally see some of that thingball field again. We haven't seen it in a cartoon since Jorb Well Done, and not in any sort of short since SB's Autobiography e-mail (though that was a track and field and not the thingball).

"I just died laughing from a completely original HSR cartoon! Isn't that great?!"

"OH JEEZ! I KILLED ELEPHANT MAN!"

This one is a 10/10 in my book. :D

For some reason I didn't really like the tale itself.

But there were some awesome bits. Both easter eggs. The Dancing Bros. Coach Zs comments. No SB was a positive.

that one was great.. best quote:

coach z just rocks in this toon:
That kind of thing might work on Coach X, or Coach Y, but you're dealing with Coach Dang Z! Now get up that rope! :coachz:

Yeah, that was great. Didn't really laugh, but was at the verge of throughout. No Strong Bad probably makes it the first present day toon without him since... anything. Wow.

Hehe. I liked that toon. Isn't that great? No Strong Bad or Homestar, focusing on some of the other characters. I give it a 9/10. Very funny, specially Saddy's "Isn't that great?" lines.

This was the greatest thing I've seen in a long time. It reminded me why I fell in love with H*R in the first place. The Homsar easter egg was ab-fab. I need to watch it again and try to decipher what he's saying, though.

"The Dancing Brothers were allergic to foxes and sneezed themselves into comas."
"Oh, that's harsh!"

This was r'lll good. The first non-strongbad 'toon since... Marshmallow's last stand, I think (O'course, then there'll be an E-mail where Strongbad gets cloned. HeY!, mabye I should send that one) . Anyway, I loved Saddy's clueless nature as to his speeches, and Coach Z's obsession with the Dancing brothers was laugh-out loud funny. Add that to Homsar's "job" and I rate this
:homsar: :homsar: :homsar: :homsar: :coachz: / :homsar: :homsar: :homsar: :homsar: :homsar: (homsar=2, Coach Zed=1) .
I was thinking the same thing as Strong Sad about that rope. "What the heck is holding that rope up?" I can just imagine the conversation between Coach Zed and Homsar.
:coachz: "Awrite Bluebell, your jorb is to hold that rope"
:homsar: AAAhm the reeesident duumbelll![/rambling]

I think that Homsar's quote in the easter egg sounds something like "Iii'm miiiles of maaaaannn" Best I could figure through the muffle factor

The whole fairy-tale Saddy thing got a little old, but I did love Coach Z's moments and all of Saddy's depressing stories.

Isn't that great?

Maybe some day we'll meet Coach X, or Coach Y but probably not. They would have made a good easter egg though.

Marshmallow's Last Stand featured Strong Bad as a main character. The most recent non-SB present-day toon is "anything" the email.

Actually, that would be Senor Mortgage, the toon. That's the most recent Non-SB toon, I belive. (Learned that from a proposed fun fact in STUFF)
