I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but has anyone noticed how strategically the sbemail button has been placed on the h*r website?
When I first heard about sb emails a few years ago, I was confused at how they put the link way at the bottom like that, rather than putting a huge permanent button on the main menu.
I think the reason for this is that they knew that strong bad emails were way more popular than anything else and thus decided to make other things more obvious. They must have thought that anyone arriving at the site already knew about sbemails, so they purposely made it hard to see so that the other stuff would get discovered more quickly.

Has anyone else ever thought the same thing?

Not really. It's kind of obvious it's the most used updated feature on the website, as it was once a sbemail a week. It's no real surprise that it's on the bottom with the other stuff.

It's advertised around the site the same amount as everything else. It's on the main page, it's shown in the whats new and even though it's at the bottom of the pag, it's just as easy to see.

Interesting. Kind of like how supermarkets put the milk and the eggs wayyyy at the back of the store so you have to walk past all the other merchadise to get to them.

Yeah, that's a good point. That probably is why they do that.

But people like me like to see the title of the SBemail before seeing it, and therefore prefer to go to the menu first ;)

The Strong Bad Email menu is linked to from every page on homestarrunner.com, so just go to the menu from there.

I like to watch the SBEmail and then guess what the title is, and I'm usually right. (Since the titles are simple, and sometimes are the same as the subject of the email, which is now visible eversince Strong Bad got the Lappy.)

The first time i went there it took me a long time to figure out how to get to the sb emails. I didn't see the navigation at the bottom and had to watch the new here thing to get to it. :p
