"Sand off your nipples?" That was great. And Strong Bad falling asleep on his way to plant cucumbers...

10/10

I liked this email, although not quite one of the best ever in my opinion. Pretty good- just doesn't stand out. I've noticed that most of the time when the emails start to go "old-time" (such as old comics) it ends up flopping, but this time worked out just great. The Cheat's cutesy eyes were just too good. Makes me wonder if htye will bring back marshmallow's Last Stand...rather, when they will do it.

Yeah the old time cartoon was the funniest yet, especially the Finest Mongolian Aftershave Lotion and the cheat.
But that laser disk thing was surely the funniest moment in the email.

I give this episode 100/10. That was one of the best episodes ever!! But I'm mostly just saying that because MLS is my favorite HSR episode.

THis was the funniest sbemail ever!!!! Or at least, I found it funnier than many of the more recent ones. THank goodness for the wiki, I wouldn't have understood this at all. When I read that it was about Marshmellow's last stand, I went and watched that toon for the first time right before i watched the e-mail. I have to say that I am now a big fan of the old toons. In fact, I wish TBC would remake MLS with the new animation style and fix teh timing and stuff. I really don't think that MLS is that not funny. That sentence doesn't make sense, let me try again: I really think it IS pretty funny even though they say it's not that funny. Just the timing and the quality of the animation needs to be cleaned up. I kind of liked the old voice better than the new voice. Almost. I guess it was pretty overdone back then, but nowthedays SB sometimes sounds downright squeeky. (Matt isn't having someone else do the voice for him, is he?)
Seriously, on topic, I loved the old voice and the old-style random cartoon violence, ("Hey, you, shut up" and throws an anvil). ANd of course the laserdisk song. For some reason, I didn't find :sb: falling asleep at the end that funny. One of the best Lappy toons; for lack of a rating system, I'll give this one a cheatgrin.

It was rather funny. I liked it. Although I think maybe TBC wanted to see what people thought of the old MLS before they spent the time repairing it. Doing it up in their current style, maybe fixing up some of the timing and humor. It was funny, but not on the level of their current stuff.

Maybe the Strong Dad finally bugged them enough... LOL

Yeah, I oddly had just happened to watch "Marshmallow's Last Stand" like two days before this email. Weird... o.O

The old loading screen, the old theme song, the old voices...good email all in all. The laserdisc song was good.

Their best email in a while (the last few have been kinda...meh...at least to me).

Does anyone except TBC themselves know the real reason why Marshmallow Last Stand was removed from the site?

TBC don't like to talk about it.

Of course, loved the cartoon.

Just wondering - "stipe" is also the last name of the lead singer of R.E.M., who are from Athens, GA and have some strong ties to Atlanta. Can't decide if this is worth being a "fun fact" or how to phrase it.

The Laserdisk reference was the only real high point, I've never seen Marshie's Last Stand.

 This email is the best! I love all the MLS and AJJC refrences. Especially the "sand off your nipples" part. This :sb: Email was, I gotta say, probably my most favorite email of them all.

I give it a 10/10.

According to my friend The Sturge (who's so far only introduced herself and not posted anything else), she didn't find this email funny until she saw MLS, so I'd imagine a lot of people who haven't seen it would feel the same way. TBC should add the toon back even if it wasn't that good. Not like The King of Town toon was any better.

Yep. I thought it was kinda funny, but since I was clueless about the references it was making, most of the humor just sailed right over my head. Then a few days after seeing it, I saw MLS, and then watched this SBEmail again. Then I was like "Oh, now I get why that's funny!" :p

I'm sorry, but, I don't understand. Is it good, or is it bad?

Yeah, that is confusing, but i think he meant the email was terrible, and the only part he liked was Strong Bad falling asleep, because that was what he almost did.

As I said before, it's only funny if you've seen MLS. I found it hilarious because I've seen MLS. This would be a good time for TBC to put MLS and A Jumping Jack Contest back on the site. You can't make inside references to those toons and expect people to get it if they can't even watch the toons anymore. (If only more fans knew about the Wiki. ;))

Thankily dankily.

I still like this email. I loved how Strong Bad kept saying "Holy Crap." A solid email, but not the best.
