New short! Discuss.

I really liked this short a whole lot, although Strong Baf's comments about scantily clad women were a bit risque. Do you think TBC are trying to bring more edge to the site? I hope not - this is the kinda thing I always felt comfortable showing my Mom...

Other than that, really funny and a realistic parody of all these "Xcons" they've been having all over the place since a few people who like Star Trek decided to go to eachother's house for pretzels one night.

Crap! You beat me to it! Anyway, for anyone wondering:

Here is the Wiki page for it.

Hereis the short.

I just thought I'd like to add that in for you. :)

Anyway, this is a good short. Wasn't the update last week something about a Trogdor-Con? 8/10

The message last week, yeah. It was about DragonCon. I'm pretty sure this short was just a parody of that whole thing.

Okay, thank you.

Anyway, TBC sure does know how to celebrate holidays what-with a new Stinkoman level and a short. Did anyone see the KOT easter egg at the end? Fun-ny stuff. *cough* yeah...

B. Pretty good short, though a little bit on the plain side. Homestar's lines were definitely the best part of this one:

"It was your unbelievably loose grasp on the world around you."
"Yeah, I guess I do have one of those."

Whoa. I always thought TBC had sorta strayed away from anime references (with one parody being enough), but they managed to pull off some fine, fine making-fun-of of Anime fans. Who knew Strong Sad liked anime, though?

I loved the KOT's face in the egg. And all of Strong Bad's insults, classic. This, was an awesome short.

It was OK. I liekd it better because I got to transcribe parts of it, but not the best. 7/10, or maybe 6.5

Greatest. Short. Ever. Wait, I lie. Experimental Film is still better, but TrgodorCon '97 is pretty close. I was really looking forward to a Labor Day-bor toon, but this... this is better. Pretty long for a short, but it wouldn't really work as a toon. 5 out of 5!

This is my favorite short ever. It's even funnier for me becuase it reminds me of when I went to Otakon a few weeks ago and walking around the Dealer's Room, looking at the different booths and checking out the stuff that I could buy. I love how Homestar dresses up as himself, Strong Sad being a fan of anime (and he had a cool costume - if I were there, I'd have taken a picture of him. And of Homestar. Because, you know, Strong Sad and Homestar. In real life. WHOA).

Yeah. A bazilion gazillion wazillion made-up numbers out of five.

That was bizarre, but I liked it. Strong Sad should've opened a can of you-know-what on Strong Bad for interloping on what is definitely the younger brother's turf. That would've made it cooler. But then any time Strong Sad prevails is to be considered canonically awesome

I'm rambling again. Rock on Bros. Chaps

This is a very funny short, even if it's not a Labor-Daybor short. Heh. I really liked Strong Sad's costume.

And in the KOT easter egg, it sounds like he's turning into the Incredible Hulk. WIth all the green, and... anger... or possibly the Inedible Eater or something like that.

Five trogdoors out of five.

Meh. I thought it was kinda bland. It would've been cool to see some other booths or something, but this short didn't do much for me.

4/10.

[edit]
Okay, I just found the KOT egg. Revised score:
5/10

It was okay. I've seen better. I would have liked to see some other booths as well. I guess I'd give it a 7/10. It could have been better.

This is a 100% accurate representation of all scifi cons. I do love when they poke fun at their fans, and this was just great. Homestar cosplaying as himself, SB dissing all the offscreen costumes, selling gamertags (?) and SS getting some ahNImeeeeee. This gets an A, a total A.

That was funny! HAHAHA! FUNNY! Yeah.

I love homestar dressing up as himself. And The Cheat's horn. And Strong Bad insulting everybody.

9/10

I wish they'd put a Labor Day toon up myself, but this was still pretty funny. I liked Strong Bad and The Cheat not actually selling anything, and Homestar coming dressed as himself. Somehow, I just knew Homestar was gonna come. The egg where Strong Bad made fun of people's costumes just cracked me up.

So was SS dressed up as anything or anyone in particular? Who was it, does anyone know?

I liked this one. It'd probably be funnier if I had ever actually been to a convention, but I still liked it.

AhNEEEMAAY/10.

I too was waiting for a Labor Dabor toon, but this was still awsome. Having Strong Bad's booth the same number as the real one was a nice touch.

It's pretty funny. Homestar and the KOT were hilarious. But I've seen better. It didn't quite blow me away.
