Pretty good, when i first saw the question i didn't beleive TBC could make something funny out of it but it seems like they managed it!

Good parts:
Frickin' sell out! (coughjustlikeGreenDay)
Bubs' basement, haha he looked evil
The Cheat's remix
Gavin! we havent seen him in a while
:sm: BLUE SOCK!!!

Overall I'd be giving it a 8/10

This e-mail was pretty good. Strong Sad's lines were funny. Pom-Pom showed his face. Overall, I give it a 8/10.

I don't think it was that great. Strong Sad's lines and the cheap knockoffs were funny but nothing else.

The Cheat's indietronic song was at a freakishly low frequency and while I was holding on to the mouse, the vibrations went up my arm.

I give it a 6/10.

Solid email. Not the funniest, but certainly one of the most clever and satiric. Not hilarious, but good for some chuckles. This one has all the clichés of the rise and fall of a popular band and/or TV/movie star:

*The people who liked it before it was "cool" (it was a rather good (albeit obvious) choice to pick Strong Sad for the role)
*Club remixes
*"Selling out"
*Appearances on talk shows
*Fawning fans (i.e. Homestar at the end. I liked that part best because it's so disturbing it's funny)
*Appearances on talk shows
*Cheap knock-offs or clones of the original (usually in products, but occasionally occurs in the musical world)
*The inevitable fall from grace (i.e. endorsement of questionable products (They believe that the "celebrity power" will make their product more money, but in reality the celebrities are slowly fading away and need the product placement to stay out of debt/in the public eye.))
*Appearances on talk shows
*In the same Homestar-worship area as earlier, the rather ignorant cliché of "It's the [insert influential band here] of our generation"
*Appearances on talk shows :P

Oh, and I LOVED the Geddup Noise Remix, and anyone who said they didn't probably were not thinking clearly when they did. On Strong Bad Sings 2 (This time, it's not Strong Bad Sings 1 :P ) = Very Yes.

This email was pretty good. My favorite parts were...

Gavin's appearence!
Homestar hosting "The Show" again.
The "The Show" home game.
The Cheat's remix.
:sm: :BLUE SOCK! BLUE SOCK!
Homestar wanting Chairscoot's autograph.

All is on, I give this email some 7/10's.

That is the point. Your joke-dar is obviously faulty.

And anyway, it's four times, not three.

(What is the difference? What, indeed, is the point? The point is frozen, the beast is late out of Paddington. The point is taken. If La Fontaine's elk would spurn Tom Jones the engine must be our head, the dining car our oesophagus, the guards van our left lung, the cattle truck our shins, the first class compartment the piece of skin at the nape of the neck and the level crossing an electric elk called Simon. The clarity is devastating, but where is the ambiguity? Over there, in a box...)

I usually only post when I'm feeling strongly about something, and I'm posting now.

That was the best sbemail bar none ever. EVER. MAN. HILARIOUS XD

All those "indie" jokes along with the whole The Show thing plus MORE. Hilarious.

10000/10

CORPORATE THE GEDDUP NOISE STILL SUCKS.

Definitly not one of the best; it doesn't make you laugh out loud necessarily. However, it was a pretty solid e-mail, with TONS of quotes and references that are going to become part of the language of this forum. ANd did you see we already have a user named Geddup Noise? Hi Noisy!

And no, I didn't notice the lack of a get up noise either. Yes, I did think :sm: said "you suck" the first time. I could tell the second time what he was really saying.

OOoh, we should have a blue sock emoticon!

Great email.

The whole thing was great, but it automatically becomes great for having Pom Pom be funny ALL BY HIMSELF!!!

I mean, he almost always has to have someone else be funny for him, but here he and his little funky dance were funneh. :pom: :pom: :pom:

Also, I liked Gavin, Bubs, etc and that I got "The Geddup Noise"'s page set up.

So... 3 outta 5 The Cheats and a Pom Pom.

   :pom: /

Fantastic email! One of the best. So surreal and yet so funny. Very weird and almost no subject matter. The Brothers Chap have done it again!

Those Chaps... Chaps really do have a gift for making something out of nothing. My expectations took a dive as soon as I saw the question but what followed had me grinning ear to ear until the Geddup Noise song and then I laughed my **** off. Awesome. Just awesome.

Worth the überlong wait. The song is sooo going to be on one of them.. song.. cd's.

In order for Green Day to be sellouts, there would have to be a time when they were GOOD. I failed to find this time. You think it's in some alternate universe?

Technically speaking selling out has nothing to do with whether an artist is "good" or "bad" (which are subjective terms anyway) and everything to do with whether an artist has betrayed their art or their principles in the name of money, e.g. changing what they do or what their stance is, or sticking to a particular style or stance after it has run its course, because it brings them filthy lucre

But, uh, I guess that doesn't have a whole lot to do with this email per se

Wow, I didn't expect the email to be that enjoyable when I first read this topic with varied opinions. I liked it! Well, it's not supreme, but it's good-semi-semi-supreme. I liked Gavin and the darkness in the beginning, Coach Z's WAYO dance, Bubs(o) going into his basement, The Cheat's AWEXOME Geddup Noise techno remix (that was really great. Someone should make an mp3 thing of that or something), Pom Pom getting a lot more screeen time and being the only character viewable in a camera shot in a large view, The Teach and his "BLUE SOCK! BLUE SOCK!", and the easter egg.

However, I kind of found the ending to be a little rushed and confusing. And I didn't really like Strong Sad's performance. And it's not just because he's not really whiny as Strong Bad predicted him to be. Guess that prediction is just a prediction. :(

regardless of what any of you say, the email was funny and all, but my favorite part was the return of pom pom. He is my favorite character and I don't think TBC show him enough.

when i first started watching it i was like uh-oh... tedious email coming up!

but the managed to get some humour in it so it was great to me!

At the beginning, I was thinking "oh crap, a bad email." And then Coach Z was the first thing to make me laugh, followed by Strong Sad and then the strangely compelling dancing. (By Pom Pom, no less! Minor appearance, but still.)

Pretty good. 7/10.

Aw, c'mon people. You know that after you watch this thing a couple times things always start to be funnier.
Also when you have other people who know what the heck you're talking about... ;-D
I thought it was good. I know I'm repeating what everybody else has said, but I liked the song, as well as the whole shirt thing. I'm gonna make me one a' those, methinks...

Oh, and I wonder what on earth is in the BASEMENT of the concession stand? That's kinda freaky, and at the same time, very cool.

I found this to be pretty disappointing, more so after a 7 week hiatus from Strong Bad Emails. However, I loved Strong Sad's spews, as it very closely resembled what I often say.
