pretty kool but one thing i noticed is that when strong bad is talking about the cheat turning into a tape player he makes a weird sound that i think was a referance to the sound transformers make when they ttranform

Yeah, thats pretty much SB imitating the Transformers transformation sound, I think. :)

Anyway, all in all I think this weeks update was kind of... mediocre. The Cheatar thing got a chuckle from me, but no more then a chuckle. I mean, its a nice looking guitar, but I've seen Strong Bad be funnier, transformers sound or not.

The puppet jam... Well its great to see the puppets again, but Homestars voice really seemed way off! Other then that it was good, I mean the lyrics are something Homestar would sing (although I liked Everybody Knows It better) But it sounds like its not Homestar, even though he has his speech impediments.

So all in all... As far as my opinion on it goes, this weak is not really bad, but not really good either. Just kinda average. But thats just me!

I think Matt made Homestar's voice off on purpose.

I thought it was a decent update, but a little on the slacky side... I mean, I think TBC were just hanging out with TMBG, and decided to shoot some video... That didn't really play like a planned bit to me.

The guitar bit was OK... saved only by the Transformer sound effect, and the photos with Larry.

And now I have to drive up to Cleveland to see the Cheatar for myself.

It was okay. That was one big guitar. I mean, it's bigger than that door.

I was at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Sunday (2004-05-30), and there was a display of big painted guitars out front, but the Cheatar wasn't among them. There were also a couple inside, but the work of TBC was nowhere to be seen. Don't know why.

I think the thing said it would be there next year when they changed the display, but I'll recheck. Althogether a good little toon. I love the word "guitar-er". Apparently, Homestar isn't the only one who makes up funny words!

I thought that too, Pardalis, but I realized that you think that only 'cuz the voice is being placed with a different looking character. If you close your eyes while watching the Puppet Jam, and imagine Homestar holding a mike, being all melodramatic whilest singing the song, then it sounds pretty normal. To me at least.

"Fangoriously." I think Strong Bad is more likely to make up funny words than Homestar, really.

Considering he's already posted his password on this forum, I half suspect it's him and half suspect it's someone else.

No, him posting his password was the LAST thing he posted, actually, so that can't quite be it.

And there's no telling whether it's actually his password or not. All I know is I'm not checking.
